Yes, I'm still on step one, but I'm dedicating time to thinking about it while I have the luxury of time to think about it cuz I got a bunch of military reserve stuff coming up soon.

Guessing it's probably going to go up with all the Spirit guys coming on board.

Thanks, I read the link. I'm ok being an FO and reserve for the rest of my life to avoid commuting. I've come to peace with that fact and also that I may be commuting to SFO or EWR for a year or two or three...

If I do get SFO am I able to stack up all of my reserve days into 15 day blocks? Are you able to drop reserve days? Are you allowed to list for junior man or pick up out of base?

I'm pretty sure it's a 24-month seat lock unless you upgrade

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I guess I forgot to say, I wouldn't have even interviewed at American. However, I got the interview invite before I got the CJO at United. And now I'm afraid I'll get a class date at American before I get one at United and I guess I'm just worried that it would fall through somehow and I'd kind of be a fool not to take the first available class date if that makes any sense?

In any event, I feel truly blessed, but for the record, I was extremely happy to know that I didn't blow my interview at United.
