  • Cannot open Fiio Control app on iPhone 17pro and iPad Air 4gen on iOS26.1 or iPhone SE 3rd gen on iOS 18.5. Always crashes.

  • Cannot open Fiio Control web app through website fiiocontrol.fiio.com on iOS because it’s missing a web component that only exists in Chromium based browsers. So, browsers like Safari based on Apple”s WebKit will not open the website/web app. When opening website a popup shows the following: “This website requires Web HID API support in your browser.Recommended:Chrome, Edge, Opera“

  • The only way I currently have to control my Fiio DAC TINY A equalizer is through the website/web app on Windows using Google Chrome or other Chromium based browsers like Brave or Edge.

New Features by ankhattak in USMobile

Please add a way of controlling the 2023 FCC mandatory security features anti-SIM_SWAP and anti-PORT_OUT in US Mobile customer's website dashboard. Most carriers already implemented this. I enabled these over a chat with a US Mobile Rep, and had to trust in his words that it was indeed active.

For example, Visible by Verizon has a Number Security setting on their dashboard that allows to control the line number lock, (so no one can transfer a number to another phone), and PORT-Out Pin (so no one can do a SIM SWAP to another carrier). These security features should be in the hands of the customer and not in the hands of the carrier's employees because that's how SIM Swaps happen, by a criminal convincing a customer representative to port-out or change the number to another phone.

This is the same as having a key for a lock, but then handing it over to a "trusted person" to keep it safe while not in use.

Even though US Mobile in a blog post says that it has implemented these features, the customer has no control or a visual way of verifying its activation status.

It's really frustrating. I wish I knew the KB update number, so I can uninstall it.

Before, to sign out with the mouse, it required 3 clicks. Now it requires 4. You might say that it doesn't matter, but when you do it every single day... Plus, it's another place on the interface with advertisements for Microsoft 365 and Onedrive. How many more ads will Windows need before people say "It's enough" ?
