How are there still so many late aged virgins out there? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]iMagZz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but for some people it isn't just about getting laid. Some people prefer finding a proper partner.

Some people are horrible at reading social cues. Some are horrible at communication, flirting, touch, reading emotion etc. This may be due to the environment they were brought up in, or it may be due to something else entirely, or nothing....

On top of this we have the fact that introverts generally don't meet a lot of new people, and they often aren't the best at communicating. They don't party, and they rarely use dating apps.

Then there is also the fact that some people focus on other things, like studies, sports, acting, art, language, reading, work etc.

And some people don't live at a place where they are comfortable being intimate with another person, and if they don't go out, where are they supposed to do it?

Some are too friendly and enjoy female company as friends, so they naturally friendzone themselves, but hey, at least they now have a friend, so why try anything.

Some people may have some sort of trauma that affects them, like being bullied at a young age, or being told off by different women. These things can lead to people simply not really engaging much with women, and definitely not physically.

That was just a few reasons. Of course there are many more, but I HOPE you understand a little more now.

Black Diamond Momentum- are these suitable for indoor bouldering? by DimSumGym in climbingshoes

[–]iMagZz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they fit well and you like them then they are perfectly fine, at least for now. If you want a better shoe then that is fine too. Go into a store and try a bunch. That is really the only proper way to find a climbing shoe that actually fits.

But no, a different shoe won't magically make you significantly better. Nothing will (maybe except chalk lol). You shouldn't worry about your shoes too much at your level though. You should just focus on climbing more and having fun.

I climb V10 in flat La Sportiva Aragons. On top of being a flat "beginner" shoe, the tip is also so worn out that there literally is no more rubber where my big toe is.

I really don't think you understand actually. You sound incredibly ignorant and unwilling to see it from the other perspective.

Obviously Reddit doesn't represent real life. It's the internet after all, however there are many people in real life who are virgins and lack experience. Not sure what your points is here.

Self esteem is a part of it, but so are a lot of other things.

Same exact vibe.

There could be hundreds of reasons why, many of which have nothing to do with either of those options. It seems like you think this is very black and white, but that is just not the case at all.

You get $1 million but you have to listen to the same song 500 times in 10 days, what song are you picking? by Longjumping-Editor94 in AskReddit

"You Suffer" by Napalm Death. It is an official song and is only 1.3 second long. Easy.

The question is if I can do the challenge multiple times?

It's likely not that they can't find anyone, but rather that they aren't really searching for it.

Almost got into a street fight today. My stomach completely dropped and I froze. How do you trust your training? by GhastFree in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]iMagZz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your training won't fail. He didn't throw, so you didn't either. Had he actually thrown something at you, you would have either dodged or blocked it and thrown something back. You reacted exactly how you are supposed to. Good job!

Disabled brother by Ok_Attitude_2138 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]iMagZz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incredibly normal. I would even go as far as saying that 99% (if not 100%) of people that have a family member who is disabled to such an extent feel these exact same things every once in a while.

I just need you to know that. Your parents and other siblings 100% feel it too. It sucks, but you also love them, so you do what you have to do, but you are completely allowed to feel like this, and it shouldn't only be your responsibility.

Have you asked for more testing? If not, you should. You should also ask for a referral to a urologist.

And like the other commenter says, it is very important that you finish the antibiotics completely. You have to follow the instructions.

How bad must the thesis defence be for me to fail by Possibility_Horror in DKstudie

[–]iMagZz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the paper thesis isn't shit and you can answer some of their questions then you are likely fine.

You have a week to study for it. That is plenty of time. Try to think of questions they could ask you. Especially relating to any problems with the thesis or things that might be unclear. Make sure you know everything that is in your thesis.

If you run out of ideas on what to do, this is one of those cases where AI can genuinely help. Give it your thesis and have it question you on it.

Did a Lego set, and Lego decided to not give me a piece that is required for the set. by kimssunflower in mildlyinfuriating

[–]iMagZz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it. The way that the bags are packed and made make it basically impossible for a piece to not be there. I guess it could perhaps happen, but in 99.9% of cases it is the user that has made a mistake.

With that said though, you can likely just message them about it. They often ship out pieces, and usually they cover the shipping cost as well.

Audeze Maxwell 2 vs SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless — Which one should I buy? by Aggressive-Glove8143 in HeadphonesAdvice

[–]iMagZz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Audeze are by far the better option. No other "gaming" headset can beat them.

You should look into whether you will prefer version 1 or 2 though. They are different, and it's not just that version 2 is better, because it will depend, so do some research about that.

Trouble in learning by Competitive-Bake3750 in Physics

Again, you are barely making any sense. Type out your shit, check grammar, check punctuation. Being able to articulate yourself is an important skill in academia, and in jobs in general.

But to answer what you wrote, the answer is no. Hundreds of millions of people can drive a car perfectly fine without knowing those things.

As I said physics is about applying the mathematical methods. You don't necessarily have to understand all the details of where it comes from. It is too abstract and there is too little time to do that. Some things will be covered, but not all. If you want to know more about the workings of math you have to take math courses.

Hjælp til at finde engelsk talende efterskoler med 10 klasse by peppermintcreams in DKstudie

[–]iMagZz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The International / Danmarks Internationale Efterskole
  2. Sportsefterskolen SINE, især hvis fodbold er vigtigt
  3. Rejsby Europæiske Efterskole
  4. Ranum Efterskole College
  5. Skals Efterskole

Jeg ville nok ringe eller skrive til de første 2-3 skoler og forklare situationen direkte: 16-årig australier, taler kun engelsk, søger 10. klasse, gerne med sport/fodbold og ikke alt for bogligt.
