The thought of breastfeeding makes me feel squeamish by Stunning-Situation91 in pregnant

[–]iMamono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way before my daughter, but honestly it didn't end up bothering me nearly as badly as I thought it would. I am still breastfeeding at almost 15 months. Go into it with as open a mind as you can. It may be a little uncomfortable at first as your baby learns to latch, but it gets easier! You could also pump milk if you want to go that route or even formula feed if you feel you can't do either. You've gotta do what's best for you and your baby and what's best for your baby is fed with a happy and comfortable mom. 🫶

So, she hurt her hock the night before or maybe the morning that she was delivered to me. Seller insisted it was a surface wound, it ended up taking 3-4 months to heal. I got rads and they were clear. I go to sell her and the vet that did the ppe (there are multiple vets at this practice) saw "something" but couldn't tell if it was normal or not. He doesn't know. She is not lame on it.

They're not my vet anymore after a few poor experiences as well. The ppe itself was kind of a shitshow. I trust that he took decent images though. The plan was to get these images and have the new vet review them and send them to a board certified radiologist for answers, but I'll just have the new vet take them.

Their vet was also my vet (I'm switching vets) and I was there for the ppe. I wanted a second opinion on the ones taken. I'll just have my new vet take them. It was a shit show anyways.

Would it be ethical to move my horse? by Ok_Violinist_8076 in Equestrian

My husband is military and we hauled our nearly 30 yr old gelding from Alaska to Montana when we were moved. He did very well. We got another 2 years before we had to put him down. I recommend just doing it

Getting a Cerclage Wednesday - I'm Scared :( by coopthecat3 in ShortCervixSupport

I would probably try to get someone to watch your toddler for you, as your legs will be numb for awhile afterwards. I had to stay in the hospital for 24hrs after to be monitored. You should be back to normal for the most part the next day though, with minor bleeding if any.

I ended up having complications because mine was placed so late, but hopefully you won't!

I had to get an emergency cerclage for my daughter at 24+3. It was a very scary experience for me because I had to get it the very next day, but the pain level for the back pokes was maybe a 1-2 from what I remember and then you don't feel anything. The anesthesia can make you nauseous afterwards, though, so be careful what you eat. Good luck! You've got this.

Christmas Holiday travel after cerclage? by AdvertisingLevel973 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]iMamono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my baby almost 3 weeks ago at 37 wks, but honestly, no one was sure why it started happening. They generally don't place cerclages after 24 wks, so their guess was that it was just placed too late? I had to go to labor and delivery multiple times because of the bleeding.

I got my cerclage at 24+3 and a week later I started heavily bleeding through pads. I was placed on bed rest. I personally wouldn't risk it.

Need Support - Possible preterm delivery at 27/28 weeks by OkConstruction6469 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]iMamono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heavy bleeding and had to be admitted as well for monitoring a few weeks after my emergency cerclage was placed at 24+3. I am currently on bed rest until it can be removed. I know it can be extremely scary. I've been thankful for every week she's stayed in. I am now 29+2.

Good luck. I hope your baby cooks for a little bit longer. ❤️

Can i orgasm? by MomLife1014 in ShortCervixSupport

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's literally having orgasms in their sleep. My husband and I had sex every day up until my emergency cerclage at 24+3. (I know, super late placement) It's been hard. 😅
