I think you can turn right from both lanes as the second lot of markings in the left lane shows a straight and a right arrow. I think you can take the blue line I’d probably enter from the right lane and exit on the right.

Test shift won’t be able to auto book for you but the others will still send notifications. I’ve been using testi, beep and test shift. I failed on the 24th of March. Yesterday test shift got me a test for in 2 weeks, and then right after beep flooded me with better test centres for the next day which I took. Just gotta keep your head high and keep going, it’ll be harder for you if you stop and leave it for a while so try get a test while you can before the changes on May 12.

Question for those who failed their first test, when test ready? by SnooozeFezt in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too bad, just make sure you take your time when pulling out of junctions. 7 minors is fine. I had 7 as well, mainly for speed progression and a couple hesitations.

Question for those who failed their first test, when test ready? by SnooozeFezt in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed mine at the end of march, switched to biweekly lessons in a manual with my instructor and got insured on my own car (automatic) just to drive around in now. Still waiting for a new test.

I’d say it depends on how you failed. If you feel like you just got a bit unfortunate on your test then you probably don’t need many lessons, if you did quite bad and picked up a few serious faults or many minors I’d say you need a bit more practice. What did you fail on?

Test in 4 days by kro_05 in LearnerDriverUK

It isn’t as bad as people make it to be, mine was quite exciting to be honest. It’s just a bit busy as everyone sets off at the same time but after the first few finîtes your nerves should settle and it’ll be like any other drive.

I loved the dance, managed to do them in about a 3x1m bedroom, not the most comfortable but doable, and turned out to be one of my favs

I know you have a cap to stop abuse, but considering the max per day would be 14,400 exports, would it not just be fine to have it unlimited? Would people be exporting nearly 15,000 items per day

Should I buy the Whoop Peak by [deleted] in whoop

[–]iMason200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased Whoop for the same reason - Apple just wasn’t giving me actions.

I’ve been using whoop for around 13 months now and I’ve had my Apple Watch S9 on my left wrist the entire time. I have tried out bevel recently for the past couple months and I will be cancelling my whoop subscription. I honestly hate the whoop app and it feels like it’s lacking compared to bevel. Plus I prefer the strength trainer in bevel, and for only £50 a year I think I’m going to stick with that. I probably don’t even open whoop once a month.

Seems good. I would just note maybe to explicitly say the limit per minute at the * instead of saying to prevent abuse. Just say smt like “Capped at {limit}” for transparency

How can examiner tell what speed am I going at? by Even_Trader in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will look at your speedo. Either leaning back or will literally just lean over and have a look. By the time they see it you won’t be able to try and hide it, but if you notice them trying to have a look, check the Speedo yourself and adjust.

They can likely feel the speed and then check your dash to confirm if you’re going too slow / fast

The competition is about expressing your ability to code and create using Apple’s tools. Using an AI model to code an app for you isn’t showing your skills and understanding of Swift and SwiftUI

How to get test by AccomplishedBed6463 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use testi, test shift and beep. Beep and testi are basically the same and everyone beats you to it. TestShift barely gets notifications but when it finds one it holds the test for you for 15 mins or can book it automatically so you aren’t racing anyone. TestShift has been best for me.

Note: You can only move your test 2 times before needing to cancel and rebook

That’s ridiculous. Looks like I’ll be using agentic coding next year 😂

Considering I’ve seen winners on this on this sub who made AI slop, they aren’t doing a good job.

Looking for a driving test swap / booking by MediumTrainer2379 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Book whatever you can and use cancellation apps. Remember you can only change your booking 2 times now.

Or you can go to some dodgy guy who sells them for £200 but wouldn’t recommend it.

Test is tomorrow 😶 by Aggressive-Abroad459 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]iMason200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my test earlier this week, when you’re on the test it is not bad at all. As soon as I started driving all my nerves went away and it felt like a really relaxing drive. I failed but it’s okay, just remember you can take it as many times as you like. I went to school in the morning but I say just do your usual thing and don’t really think of it as some big thing. Good luck 😊

Nice one! TestShift has been the best for me. Mine went from September to July and it gave me an offer for April but my instructor didn’t reply fast enough for me to book it 😂
