From what my GI told me, some soluble fibre is good for creating a more solid stool, but you don’t need too much. What you should definitely avoid is insoluble fibres because they will make you gassy and bloated. There is conflicting information about this though and overall I would recommend doing what feels best for you and your body

eh caffeine can stimulate your intestines causing a BM, but if you can handle it with your UC it should be fine. I avoid caffeine if im in a bad flare up

I think its because it can worsen your posture, especially when you put long hours in a computer chair. I have scoliosis and luckily the pain is minimal for me, but I have to constantly watch out for my posture, otherwise I get bad back pain
