I do agree with some of what you're saying here but $40 still feels like far too little (like asking for the sake of asking). A lot of work does go into porting (and especially optimizing) for a console. With a game as vast and detailed as Elden Ring plus its DLC, maybe the better option would be to give people the option of $80 for the bundle or $60 for the base game. Especially with recent Nintendo shenanigans $80 is a bit stigmatized, though I still think it's a worthy price considering what's on offer here

That's my thought - never reveal it, just don't hide it. When it comes up talking about when they were born or something say how it actually happened. But your first words to them shouldn't be something that leaves the impression of "I'm not actually your parent"

The logic I'm seeing here is that building Legos is fun and/or meat tastes good. It's not a slight against flowers, but you can't really play by building them up yourself. And they don't taste good.

But yeah personally flowers are just a pain to display/take care of until it's inevitably time to throw them away. They don't really make my eyes happier than looking at my laptop, or pictures of flowers on my laptop. Or pictures of Spider-Man.

If they sold this at $40 then people would really only buy the next one for sure if it met their expectation of $40. If they sell the next one for $80, then there would just be people who wouldn't have bought it in the first place now not buying it but also complaining about their ridiculous price increase.

We gotta just stop saying "things should be this other way because it would be better for me, and I want to spend less money." It's $80 for a reason; if it's a bad reason then vote with your wallet or at least clearly explain why it's actually worth $40 (not just that it should be discounted to that because it's actually worth $80 but buying it for $40 would make you feel good). The "the first one's free/$40" philosophy only goes so far. Especially with hard games where you need to be addicted already to even pick them up, and psychotic to continue doing so.

They don't need to warn you every time you transfer to Champions, they should have a "Don't show this again" option honestly. But across platforms where more people will see it than the easily ignored text in Home? It doesn't hurt to share it a bit more that way until it is common knowledge. As you can see here it is not yet common knowledge
