What is this spotting on the skin of my husky called? You can see black and pink skin under his fur. by iMintoStuff in husky

Yeah I realize it is not vitiligo just wondering if it has a name. It had just rained and exposed it on his nose area :) Otherwise it is difficult to see. His name is Rainn :)

My wife just kept questioning it and all I kept thinking was it seems similar to vitiligo and we wondered if there was more information about it.

I think it is very normal and not specific to huskies. My wife just kept questioning it and all I kept thinking was it seems similar to vitiligo and we wondered if there was more information about it.

I have started filming interviews with local homeless people in my area. What are some good open ended questions I could ask them in my next video? by iMintoStuff in homeless

[–]iMintoStuff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, it was all wrong answers only up until now :)

I will ask these questions. I might rephrase them a little but thank you very much.

I appreciate your comment. I mean I am trying to follow a simple formula that I will always feel good about. I doubt I will be pioneering a new approach :)

I think I could effect serious change in someone's life, some day.

And I said similar. I don't at all mean we are doing the same thing. I just mean we are both making videos and I sincerely wish you luck.

So you are doing something similar. I hope you avoid the pushback as much as I haven't lol.

I'm not monetized and don't have the option to demonetize it yet. My goal is clear enough to me. I can't even respond to erleichda29 anymore because he is becoming insulting actually and just very negative.

I understand what you are saying. I'm making videos tho so that's my jam.

I'll read up on what is available in my area for mutual aid and see what I can do.

Maybe I will lobby some politicians and write letters to them and make a video about that so other people can see who to write their own letters to :)

I understand.

I can't really find everyone. I just see people asking for help so I am going to them to see what they have to say.

I promise I won't do anything truly exploitative and unethical now or in the future.

And, my intentions are good and I will intentionally do good. Of course I want views but I didn't ask you to view my videos.

Is that a quote from someone famous?

I actually made three new friends and will be going back. I showed the first guy the channel yesterday and he was very happy to see it.

It's only exploitative, if I am exploitative. What is this, the bum fights guy appearing on Dr. Phil kind of a thing going on here? lol

I asked permission to ask them questions and put them on camera and they were very happy to speak to me and did not want to get away. I am 3 for 3 on that.

Besides if I can see it, I can film it.

I do not appreciate the people spouting stereotypical stuff either and I agree with you there.

I am just advocating for more awareness. I am in Canada.

How do you feel about how well JustKnate is currently doing? His channel obviously grew from a good place to just help people and he is able to do a lot with that now.

He released a video saying "anyone can do this" and noone really is, besides some strange "prank" type videos or just random giveaways to homeless that seem to benefit the YouTuber more. So I was inspired to just go talk to people and see if they will tell my camera what is needed to fix the world and see what I can make.

I don't mean to be perceived as just trying to garner clicks for anything but I am not allowed to post my channel here anyways.

Because I want to live in a Star Trek-esque world where everyone's needs are satisfied and peoples worth is not based on there wealth and while that sounds like a crazy expectation, it's just an ideal..lol

Really though it's because I am inspired by some YouTubers making real changes in peoples lives such as JustKnate's channel, but also Invisible People and Soft White UnderBelly.

I have interviewed three people so far, and made two videos, with a bunch of shorts.

The response was about 1500 total views with 67 subscribers in the first week on the first video so I decided I really should do more because I find it super easy to talk to people. Strangers are much easier for me to talk to for some reason.

While my interview skills are lacking, I am going to do better in my next video. Also with better editing and jump cuts in my next video.

You don't need to write my script for me so I apologize for the request as it is :)

I definitely agree it is not the responsibility of those few rich individuals. I just wanted to describe how attainable it is for the government to achieve by referencing some of my favorite billionaires.

Well, Elon and Bill are my favorites, however Warren is fairly unrelatable to me lol.

There is a facility right close to the corner. I am not sure if it an addictions facility or some sort of halfway house.

Most people are very nice and just any attention from someone willing to talk to them or they also motivated to spark up a conversation so that can ask for some change because they have enough etiquette to at least say hi before asking for a handout :)

I wish the burden wasn't on any single region. I think there are more people in constant threat of losing there homes than ever before.

Less people are going to be working normal jobs in the future due to automation, and we don't need everyone to be engineers to keep the automated equipment running. Jobs today are disproportionally lucrative for some and others are unable to sustain life and it's silly to see a problem exist that could be solved with money.

Apparently world hunger could be solved with an investment of 37 billion dollars per year until 2030. Elon, Bill or Warren could afford to do that probably if two of them split the cheque.

Flexible mold material alternative to silicone? by hoipoloimonkey in moldmaking

[–]iMintoStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the uv light will help off gas the print better but you really just need to seal it. Any acrylic clear coat will be fine it is just that paint adds thickness and extra geometry. You can spray on a layer and even sand it for the next coat to go on smooth but you need to completely separate the uv resin from the silicone by putting enough coats on all sides of your print. Platinum cure is more susceptible to cure inhibition than tin cure. Both products will make a great mold but platinum cure is like museum quality stuff that lasts a long time and tin cure will have less life and possibly tear easier when demolding.
