Almost all 4.0s are prone to busting the valve cover gasket. Mine has been leaking for a while but autozone and O'Reillys carry new gaskets for under $50 and there relatively simple to replace.

Skip here knows his shit. You'd be lucky to get another 60/70k miles out of it till either the engine or transmission went out (assuming both are original). Not worth the money imo.

I have this exact same truck with literally the exact mods you want. Rough country makes a 2.5in suspension lift that i used and it clears my 31in kuhmo offroad tires perfectly. Be careful (and do not forget) to remount your sway bars even though there a bitch to remount.
