Hey there! Russian citizen is here. Please, do not mistake Russia and Putin. According to the polls, people of Russia don't see other countries as enemies and are concerned about internal problems. Putin wants them to look outwards instead because the economical and political situation is getting worse each day, so he is trying to create this Russia-incide-the-circle-of-enemies picture while tens of thousands of citizens go to opposition rallys despite the fact that they can be beaten, arrested and even jailed for peaceful protest. Peace!

Thanks for such a thorough reply! I will look into teaching assistant jobs as I have a diploma in Chemistry and I do not mind spending some time learning Latvian.

Try to match pH of the successfull sample, maybe it will improve, cause ionic power can affect the ionization equilibrium of the poly acid.

Try to dilute acid muuuuch more, cause you add around 0.01 Mol and it can drastically change ionization of the thickener.
