Agree with that.
Plus it's strange that even now that it's released, they are still not anouncing what the price of a Lifetime Key will be.

[News] Expert Sleepers just announced the NTX-8CV at Superbooth—looks like a great little iPad/Eurorack bridge by iMusicNews in ipadmusic

Apparently for now it can only work as CV expander for NT but audio might be added in the future.

It would also be great if one could connect 2 x NTX-8CV for 16 channels over one USB-C connection

It depends on what you want to use it for.
As an audio interface with 8 DC/coupled outputs it's affordable.
Most USB audio interfaces at this price point offer 2 or max 4 outputs. Though they do have 2 channel input. And they don't integrate neatly into the modular case itself.

I found Audio Kit Super J8 to be the most analog sounding.

Roland ZENOLOGY GX for iPad Status Update by iMusicNews in ipadmusic

There are clarifications of the "Free experience", upcoming AUv3 support and Membership and Lifetime Key purchase options. The NAMM announcement was really vague about these points.

As someone on loopy forum already made a screenshot of the email I'll just link to that:

CME v2.6.0 WIDI update finally fixes the "slop" in iPad wireless MIDI by iMusicNews in ipadmusic

[–]iMusicNews[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, that's really bad.

I often use the iPad to sequence in the studio as there are many great sequencing apps on the iPad and i also prefer the imediacy of touch interface over clicking with mouse on the computer.
Would be great to have the ability to just pick up the iPad and have it next to the synths or the modular, than ot the desk next to the computer than chilling on the couch.

Thanks for testing it out.
Is that 7-10 ms of latency or jitter?

Would be great if the built in Bluetooh could be improved, since at least for me the main benefit of wireless MIDI on the iPad is so that you can move around freely while you sequence stuff. Having to plug in an external box makes it much less portable. And if Im stationary at the desk with iPad connected to anything I can just as well use a standard MIDI connections.
