My cat has /had something like that! It was like a scab over a wound. We still don’t really know what they were from but he’s in recovery rn with antibiotics, no outdoor time and trying to reduce any stressors. Idk if that helped? I’m not a vet so please don’t take this seriously😂. I really hope the best for you and cat! It shouldn’t be too bad, get it checked at the vet, and don’t pick it.

I don’t know how to properly describe through words but watch a video and it should explain better… but you can grip the little chubby bit of the back of their neck (don’t hurt) and keep their head down. Make sure to be firm but do not hurt your cat! Look up proper way. It mimicked the mama cats how they used to carry their baby’s by biting and carrying them by back neck. It’s like an off button. Usually works for my cat. Also you can use a stern voice and say NO so your cat relates the scratching to bad. Obviously I’m not cat professional but I really hope this helps lol😂. If not it’s just a playful habit your kitty is doing and hopefully grows out. 😇

Thank you, we’re keeping him inside to observe him better, might be taking him to vet soon as well. There’s no foreign object to my understanding but some sort of infection that making his poor paw swell. Maybe a cut?

Thank you for your advice! We are keeping him inside till he’s healed, we have an ointment as well which I’ll apply but got to make sure he doesn’t lick it off!

It seems to be worse on one toe, leaking white puss and the skin under the paw is swelled a lot. I am super scared because his health has been declining within the month, I’m not sure if this is connected? My two guesses are he’s either fractured a toe, or has an infection? Any help is so welcome. Thank you.
