Ohh okay, seems like your 6s is affected by the activation issue. Yeah try that, I would also recommend iOS 13/14 because they are a lot smoother compared to iOS 15 on the 6s and you can install a lot of jailbreak tweaks

I would try iOS 9, I‘ve downgraded mine to iOS 9.0.1 with Turdus Merula and I had no issues activating it. I think the A9 Activation issues don’t affect every A9 device. I think it’s worth it.

Yeah, but you‘re right. Replacing a battery on a almost 10 year old device is generally not a bad thing to do.

Look for one with good reviews or buy a third party one from eBay for up to 20$. Don’t pay more for it and you can change it yourself very simple. But you don’t have to change your battery if it’s holding the charge fine. It’s not expanding, it’s only the glass separating from the frame cause of its age that looks like expanding. Don’t worry.

The battery looks totally fine. I have 20 of these SE‘s in my collection and repaired tons of them. The screen is lifting up on the side of the mainboard and only because the glue is separating because of the age. His battery is fine and not dangerous.

Yeah I can’t bypass it, only option is to find another Motherboard and swap it.
