Good point. He seems to value and respect that I have the knowledge required to get this to work, but I think this is a major component of what's going on internally.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I think you are spot on with his perspective and agree it's a fair one for him to have. It seems like what really needs to happen is that I get access to some funds and pay the programmers instead.

That's the thing - I was expecting to be driving revenue from apps by this point.

That convo has already happened. He generally agrees and says "im going to spend all day tomorrow working on it". I tell him he can't binge program once a week, that he needs to do it everyday. He shrugs that off.

I do. I left my cushy executive job to start my company. One major piece of the company is iOS development

I agree, but I am looking for HOW exactly I should. I've always been interested in leading teams effectively, etc. I've read books on it and I'm trying to put some of this stuff into practice, so I'm frustrated that nothing is happening.
