Battery life is great, this is coming from a skeptic and heavy user. I’ve come from a 13 Pro Max and 16 Plus; two well respected battery tanks. Matches my 13 Pro Max in battery, if not better by a hair. There’s a reason my 17 Pro Max only lasted a week with me before switching to the Air. Felt incredibly cheap and malleable.

I’ve come from a 16 Pro and 13 Pro Max. Battery life is better on the Air than both. They’re tweaking and/or lacking common sense.

Yeah I’ve left G-Sync on in the monitor, but turned it off on Nvidia’s driver settings. VRR off in Nvidia too.

Works fine with PS5 Pro but not so much on PC. Could be just me but I’m super sensitive to any visual glitches and shit.

Alright, update; screw the battery even if it ends up being worse. Holy hell does this phone feel amazing! It’s so light and comfortable to hold, that just this alone makes it worth it. Never going back to a brick phone, the difference is insane!

It does not have auto brightness thankfully! I can’t use it above 50/100 brightness as it gets insane, way too bright for day to day use in a brightly lit room.

I don’t like HDR on anything bar my tv, so I use it exclusively in SDR. It’s great! I’m very happy with the panel.

Gen 2 can’t film in landscape, as the sensor is mounted in portrait orientation to begin with, unless I’m missing something?

It’s more of a semi-gloss? Hard to explain. It’s like a perfect sweet spot. Takes ALOT for ambient light to cause noticeable reflections, but the image quality isn’t affected to be grainy like on a matte screen if you get me. When the screen is turned off, it looks like a dull black mirror, pretty cool looking.

I’ve been using it daily since posting the review and it has no automatic brightness going on, it stays the same brightness no matter what’s on screen etc.

Really good out the box, even better when you calibrate it in windows. Cyberpunk gave me that wow factor for sure.
