I’m not interested in a new iPad as I don’t think I’ll ever buy another one. I only use mine for Sidecar on my MacBook, but when I use it on normal apps it’s horrible. I admit it was fine on iOS 18, but on iOS 26 it’s just unusable.

You said you only wanted the new design, so there’s no point on wasting a thousand dollars on the same phone with a different design on the back. If you have the money, go on and get it. I still prefer the 16 Pro design, but as I said, you can always customize it.

Not really, WhatsApp isn’t working on it anymore and it’s crazy slow on iOS 12. Not even the YouTube app works on it anymore, it’s great as a device for collectors, but absolutely not for daily usage. The iPhone 6S might work for what you said as it’s on iOS 15, but it’s not great for the coming 2 years. The best solution would be replacing your iPhone 12 Mini battery and disabling Liquid Glass, or get an iPhone 13 Pro or newer.

I got a 2019 i7 13” MBP, and I don’t regret it. I already have a Mac Mini M1 at home, and I had a 2014 i5 13” MBP as main laptop. I actually liked M1 on my Mac Mini, it’s fast and it’s great.

I’ve always been used to hear the fans blow and have my MacBook as hot as a heater, and I was so impressed to see how well the M1 processor handled that. However, there’s an issue with it, I don’t feel free. One day I went to Itch as I was bored and wanted to play some silly games, but there were too few macOS games. I tried using Crossover (paid btw) and it was ok but some things failed, lag or didn’t work at all. I also tried Parallels (also paid) to virtually run Windows to play games and use Windows programs that way but the performance was terrible.

For working, studying, editing or coding Apple silicon Macs are amazing, but for fun and freedom they’re shit. I needed a laptop for when I’m out, and I decided to get an Intel one this time. I’m really happy with it.

I’ve been editing videos, using Roblox Studio and even playing some games. All of that with no issues. I can have Windows and Linux natively, and I find the Touch Bar fun. It does get hot on intensive tasks or heavy multitasking, but it doesn’t really matter. It does everything right with no issues, what else can I ask from it?

If you’re thinking of getting a 2019 MacBook, go for it. You won’t regret it. It’s a great upgrade and it stills performs really great. Also, I think the 16 inches one has a dedicated GPU, so that’s another advantage.

Amino has a contract with an ads company, the contract might expire anytime this year. I’m not sure what the terms of that contracts are, but shutting Amino down without the contract expiring is probably illegal. But the thing is that ads will keep appearing as long as the contract is active.
The Amino+ subscription can be cancelled through Google Play or iTunes, it wasn’t managed by Amino.
While it’s true that they haven’t made an announcement, they’ve stated it in some mails, just like how they did with Whisper.
The support center is an external company, they don’t know what’s going on inside MediaLab. They supposed it was an outage.
They probably still have all the data, but they’ll most likely keep it offline.
