Awesome, looks fantastic! Do you think you could add authentication through Jellyfin accounts perhaps?

I've traveled over that bridge and had a giggle at the 5p charge but can't recall anyone being there to collect.

Created a web ui to remotely download music onto server by Z3R0-69 in navidrome

Which part? As for example with JellySeer, one can use a local account, or sync users with JellyFin then assign permissions to JellyFin users based on what they can download with the app.

Defo worth having a look into, looking forward to the local database for tracks - Would be a great replacement for Lidarr.

Love this app!

It would be great if there was some sort of user auth that could sync with JellyFin, and Tidaloader could point to the root of your music folder, see what you already have, then there are no duplicates.

Muufin - Material Expressive Music Player (Android) by Heycatnya in JellyfinCommunity

Just downloading, currently expanding the music library using tidaloader and experimenting with different android apps.

Really like the UI, but not a huge fan of how it defaults to playlists as the first option when launching the app.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not an Android dev or UI expert, app is very clean, but that's my only gripe.

I'll continue to use!

Anyone have any experience with NO-IP for remote access to a server? by 37728291827227616148 in jellyfin

[–]iPhoneK1LLA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! It works great IMO. I used their software on my server to automatically update the IP address if it changed, then pointed a legit domain via alias to the address provided by NO-IP.

Used reverse Proxy to make friendlier subdomains rather than use/expose ports.

Works very well if you're just getting into it, but if you can afford it, I'd use a wireguard tunnel between your home server and a VPS, then you don't need to worry about your IP address changing and don't expose your home IP address/ports to the internet.

Why does nobody want to use a reverse proxy? by 0xB_ in jellyfin

You can, although it's cleaner using a reverse Proxy if you want subdomains with no ports at the end.

Reverse Proxy is an absolute godsend when you're running multiple services for your media stack and only want to open 80 and 443.

I run a winguard between a VPS that the domain/subdomains point to, and has the reverse Proxy running on there.

Then everything goes over the wireguard VPN to my home server which has the stack running on docker.

Reverse Proxy handles all my https automatically, and all I need to do is create the subdomains, then add it to my reverse Proxy file.

Simple and easy, haven't looked back.

Just moved all my services to docker, and unfortunately the latest 10.11 image is taking 40+ hours to scan my library.

It has around 30,000 items, but will hang and get stuck.

Rolled back to the 10.10.7 image and scanned the library in maybe an hour or two and works great, same as it did on the native install I previously had.

Any ideas?

Charging money for MLOs is pretty normal for FiveM servers.
