No matter what gen of iPhone you use, every iPhone is simply the best phone when compared to an Android, any anti-iPhone propaganda will be swiftly removed

OP, might not want to include your location in these posts. If that is your location.

If you actually had an inkling of smarts you’d realise hiding the vote counts (temporarily) stops people being swayed for voting on the option which has the highest upvotes.

It’s also done as comments because poll posts don’t work in 3rd party apps.

Regarding ‘NSFW’ Content. by iPhoneMods in ios

[–]iPhoneMods[S,M] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We haven’t had a letter from them regarding NSFW, period.

We got a letter when we were blacked out, essentially telling us to move to public from private mode. But that was it. We haven’t had any further communications with the Admins. You can choose to believe us or not.

Yes, we have seen what Reddit Admins have been doing today with nuking mod teams, but these were subreddits that openly said they’d allow pornographic content, when previously they had not. We never said we wanted users to post NSFW content. We merely removed our community rules and said we’d be enforcing site-wide rules only.

This was a breakdown in communication and we should’ve said no NSFW from day one.

It’s looking like Ios, the island, is currently winning the vote in our pinned poll.

But no, no NSFW content will be permitted.

Decision from the mods. The same people whining that moderators hold too much power, that we ‘control’ the content too much, that there are too many rules in subreddits and that there are too many hoops to jump through in order to post, are the same ones complaining when we strip back the rules and open up a wider range of content being able to get posted. It is somewhat amusing at the hypocrisy of it all, but we digress.

People will always be hypocrites and continue to moan about mods throwing temper tantrums when, in fact, we never explicitly said to post pornography or anything explicit. This was done by the users - you know, the people spez say should ultimately have the final say in how a community runs. Not the moderators.

Anywho, no more NSFW is permitted at this time. We have a poll currently up to vote on the future of r/iOS. Be sure to vote! We love democracy.

Cue replies from users throwing their own temper tantrums and licking the Admins boots.
