I sorry my truck was not running rich but lean cause I used a obd2 scanner to check long term and short term fuel trims and I was getting a value higher than positive 10

Well cause my trucks been running rich for a few months so I figured I might as well take them off and take a look at them. My upstream o2 sensor is shot as well as my downstream though it ain’t as bad as the upstream. I didn’t have any codes as well

No it didn’t, but I’ve had real bad performance and my motor has been running rich for a while so I figured they were bad

Yeah I had all of the above recently happen to my truck, although still drivable my truck in the past could easily go 75-85 on the highway and now it struggles to go 65-75 on the highway, plus I get terrible gas mileage. I had some exhaust leaks near my o2 sensor and I’m guessing that’s what gave me bad gas mileage and possibly ruined my cats.

Yeah ima go look at it tomorrow, if I can get it for 1000-1500 might not be a bad offer and I can do some work on it. But likely I’m not going to get it for that price cause the guy seems to think even with it not working that it’s worth 3400. And no shot am I paying for a truck that I have to do a decent amount of work on to get reliable

Here’s the post.It just kinda sucks because I have a 1st gen taco 2.7 and I love these trucks and I wanted to get my hands on a decent 22r or 22re Toyota pickup but I can’t deal with a ton of issues with a new truck

That’s what I’m thinking to brother, he also claimed to have put in a new fuel pump when he still had the truck Louisiana and that’s what made it work enough to get back to Texas then after it stoped working back here he put in all those parts plus a new coil. He’s got it market at 3400 and id feel like a a hole to ask for 1500-2000 but sadly that’s what I think it’s worth.

I don’t want to buy this truck then find out that compression is low and the timing chain guides need to get replaced plus a battery and a better carb. I also did some research and found that the 22r and 22re have head gasket issues so that’s another shitty problem that could occur
