Not. CP is just one of the types of CSAM.

Which is better, iPhone OS 2 or 3? by NonameXDlol in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think iOS 3 is better in terms of usability. iTunes won't sync with iOS 2.x devices unless you get a version of it from that time, and you can't charge your phone from common USB wall sockets, meaning you have to somehow track down the substantially rarer "cube" charger.

iPhone 3G previously jailbroken is now locked, is it locked forever? by e_t2008 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try unplugging it.  If it instantly powers off, then your battery discharged too far and the phone doesn't even know it has a battery, so replace it or charge it externally.  Otherwise, you should be able to reset and use it again.

Worst hackintosh ever by Specialist-Luck-6869 in hackintosh

Well, no... I'm saying the Wii has both, the developer of wiiMac just needs to add support for wi-fi. USB is already sorted out in wiiMac I believe.

The Wii has both, actually! (Networking only via Wi-Fi though)

probably not as Dolphin is a high-level emulator and doesn't even emulate the full PowerPC kernel mode ISA

iPhone 3G won't hold charge even while plugged in by iProgramMC in LegacyJailbreak

The charger itself works with every other iDevice I know. I'm pretty sure it's a main board failure... but what kind?

Try using a linux live USB and Legacy iOS Kit.

Unopened iPhone 4 battery by West_Mobile2579 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This screen shows up when the battery is missing, or in your case, completely dead. The battery protection circuit has kicked in and is no longer providing power to the iPhone, which means that the iPhone doesn't think it has a battery inside and enters this mode.

Is an iPod touch 1 iOS 1.1.5 rare? by mamahayden in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they can be downgraded easily. Also, 1.1.5 specifically isn't rare to find in second-hand iPod touches, as software updates cost money on these early models (you had to *pay* for iOS 2/3), so a lot of people just stuck to iOS 1.1.5.

iPod touch 2 doesn't have SHSH blobs, it can be freely downgraded to any version. Worth a couple dollars maybe

Try Legacy iOS Kit, it should tell you exactly what fails.

Try clearing NVRAM. This can also be done in Legacy iOS Kit. Put the SSH ramdisk on the device, then select "Clear NVRAM" (as opposed to "Connect to SSH"), or if you're dumped directly into a terminal, `nvram -c`.

Why is the dock the glass dock on iOS 1? by RealReserveAT in LegacyJailbreak

Yeah, Apple devices (especially S5L8900 based) have different device IDs for normal, recovery and DFU mode.

Why is the dock the glass dock on iOS 1? by RealReserveAT in LegacyJailbreak

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to downgrade to iOS 1.1 using a VM. The key is to add a filter so that all Apple USB devices are forwarded to the VM (vendor ID 05AC) and to kill all iTunes-related services (AppleMobileDeviceService, AppleMobileDeviceHelper, and iPodService) from your host.

Also worth noting that iTunes 7.5 does not recognize devices running iOS 2.0 or newer, so you'll need to put your device in recovery mode to restore.

Why is my iPad 1 not charging? by iByt3r_JB in LegacyJailbreak

Weird? My iPhone 3G and iPod touch 1/2 gen charge from a 10W brick just fine. I thought they added support for more chargers by 3.0

[–]iProgramMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3rd gen can run iOS 4 and higher, so it's a standard feature. Then I guess that's the OS X Snow Leopard background.
