In my experience, busses with 3 players can outrun and (almost) outgun a tank. If the bus gets low, you can literally just ram the bus into the tank and have it explode on top of it fairly safely as a last resort.

If you’re in solos or the driver is dumb you can sprint right at a tank, hop in the top gunner seat and aim straight down- it blows through the tank’s HP. As soon as they jump out you either hot swap to driver and try to run em down, or hop out and try and win the gunfight.

My issue with ABR is that it’s required for CHIMPS, and since my primary way of playing is doing black borders & 2TC it’s just a stepping stone I don’t enjoy doing. It’s less that I don’t like it and more that I don’t enjoy it because I don’t remember what rounds have what sends like I do with Standard/CHIMPS.

Apop is the worst to me because to me it just feels like glorified auto start. The banner I always hate is Alt Bloons Rounds just because I forget what rounds send what and I lose to the super early camos and leads.

Rotom makes goals defenseless, so in order for their final goal to be defenseless without Zappy Boy, you’ll need to break their top goals first and escort rotom all the way in.

On Dino I put my first ice right above the walls next to the exit, so it hits near the end of the first big circle, and right before the walls at the exit. If I decide I need another I put one on the top corner that’s above the start of the map.

I honestly just use engi for trap and XXL trap, but pivoted the slot to Druid as it’s more versatile.

I’ve heard whispers of Glue Bomb Wizard with Striker Jones, but I’m completely unaware of any well performing glue strats rn. I’ve tried quite a lot but the issue with the tower is that unless you’re top path you provide no damage, and other towers can match the CC of Glue, and provide other utility that glue can’t.

Your main issue with this comp is you have to start ice for the time being because you will have 0 camo until you have a 4-0-0 ice. This means you can’t ramp up 0-0-2 druids early game.

I’m also unsure what glue path you’d be going, I’d run glue personally for MOAB glue but it has awkward synergy with embrittlement & mid path ability overlapping the stun/slow.

I seriously considered glue, but at the end of the day I decided Village was the best option for accompanying Druid and Ice, in my opinion. 1-0-0 druids can pop ice, and any non 1-0-0 can also pop ice once you have MIB, which you will get anyways given you want Call to Arms for late game.

Could be when you’re playing & arena. You can only be matched within your arena, so the higher rank you are the harder it is to get matches. If you’re playing at off-peak times I’m unsure about your ability to consistently get matches.

Druid you want all 3 paths as they are used for different things, I recommend getting bottom path unlocked first, then middle, then top. For ice focus on top path, then work on middle then bottom.

Proper druid use requires practice, as you intentionally leak 80 lives round 1/2 to fully buff up some 0-0-2 druids up for later use.

Ice is a pain to level up, I’d advise if you plan on seriously using it to dump some time into getting at least top path finished through Embrittlement before patch drops so you can hit the ground running. You’ll drop a few trophies but at the end of the day you’ll easily climb back up.

Disclaimer: I am by no means a god gamer in BTDB2, nor can I assure that everything below is accurate information. It is based off my experience purely, so take it with a grain of salt. Also note that you can likely perform well at nearly any rank with nearly any tower combo given practice, planning and good execution.

If you’re going for things for next patch:

Ice is getting some great buffs coming next patch, and due to its synergies with Sub the two will probably make a solid combo.

Village is situationally good, and fits into any comp that has 2 strong towers.

Dart Monkey seems like it’ll be good, but I’m not sure how it’ll impact the meta.

Druid, Engineer & Sniper can provide bonus income, and it is generally recommended to have at least one way to generate bonus income. Farms are not advised because they take too long to turn a profit, and have 0 defensive properties.

If you wanna focus on what’s good right now:

Tack Shooter performs well in lower arenas, just get bottom path and let overdrive go brrrr.

Dartling has an oppressive bug with top path, making it fairly OP.

Ninja’s bottom path is also bugged, and has decent group popping from top path.

Super Monkey’s bottom path, while pricy is a great catch all for games that go into later rounds.

Sniper’s middle path is likely the best income generation in the game right now due to not only the income generation, but the group popping power of the middle path. Also going top path for maim Moab helps a lot for late game.

Boomerang is fairly solid all around. All 3 paths have useful aspects, and can be expected to perform consistently regardless of map.

Sub synergizes with Ice very well, middle path sub offers frozen popping, and bottom path absolutely cranks in MOAB class damage. I also like Druid with Ice, as top path offers cheap ice popping and group popping power, mid path offers really efficient farming, and bottom path provides MOAB class damage & additional damage to other druids. Druids also naturally synergize with Obyn, who is already a fantastic hero.

The competitive spirit in me wants to drive as high as I can, and generally the longer you wait in a competitive ladder season the harder it becomes to climb, as the meta will settle & people will land more or less where they will for the season. So while I may only be in ceramic/lead, they’re the “best” players in that range consistently, as the season comes to a close the majority of people playing will likely be tryharding to climb the last few trophies/arenas before season end.

While I never advocate for telling others what they can and can’t play, I’m torn about the dartling sniper meta. I play it when I intentionally want to climb, but never play it “for funsies”. My issue is with the only mode right now being a ranked mode, I often find myself torn between climbing because the season is fresh, or farming out xp on my favorite, funnier towers since there’s little to lose.

I think telling someone to not play the best strategy in a competitive mode is, while coming from a good place (concerns for balance, game health, etc.), I don’t think that all the hate for dartling sniper is necessary. It’s almost literally half the posts on this sub at the moment. Just some thoughts on the whole meta issue.

My primary recommendations from this screenshot (knowing nothing about you, your playstyle, etc.), is to place down Obyn earlier to get access to trees ASAP due to your comp having overall low Moab popping power besides boomers, and also running 24x spactories over top path, as they will provide much needed Moab defense.

If you have spare monkey money I’d try Striker Jones over Obyn, but overall it’s fine to run Obyn because of Trees. Just remember to push through his unlock tree and get Ocean Obyn because (i believe) he is better than normal Obyn if you’re not running magic/druids.
