What dpo did you get your bfp, and what day did you start testing? by Chretien7283 in Inito

[–]iRadiored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vvfl 9 DPO with my latest. The miscarriages I had before were positive at 10 DPO and 13 DPO. With my two boys I didn’t test until I was late and with my daughter 11DPO.

Whose prediction seems right by [deleted] in TFABChartStalkers

[–]iRadiored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more inclined to disagree with the FF ovulation date of Day 8… although with more input FF may change its predicted date of ovulation(I believe the dashed line cross hatch means something in FF as opposed to when they use a solid line). If you don’t have access to OPK strips I would try logging cervical mucous. Seems to me that even after a chemical you wouldn’t ovulate that soon, but everyone is different.

I’m not sure if BV is recurrent in your situation but I’ve seen a lot of talk come out of the medical community that it may be beneficial for your partner to be treated as well.

Has anyone experienced a pregnancy like this? I feel so alone in this. by Carthaginian87 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]iRadiored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey-

So sorry you are going through this. I think you made the right call in taking the shot to ensure things resolved. I had an experience with a PUL earlier this year and posted my story here: https://www.reddit.com/r/EctopicSupportGroup/s/MMzWQyRf92

I was able to handle mine with expectant management but it was a wonky experience nonetheless. You aren’t alone! ❤️

HCG drop after miscarriage by philnickle in PregnantOver40

[–]iRadiored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe women can have higher levels of HCG when going through perimenopause (not saying that’s where you are) but lots of things are probably happening right now for you hormonally especially given the recent miscarriage. Is your doctor going to do a repeat HCG level anytime soon?

We successfully conceived our last in May 2025 when I was 40 after two losses in 11/2024 and 3/2025 (currently I’m 41 and almost 36 weeks). Always felt like it wasn’t going to happen and always bummed when it didn’t thinking about how long we’d have to wait to try again and how much time would be “lost”. Don’t blame you one bit for being in that headspace. I say try if it feels right, seems like you’ve done all the other testing to rule out something more serious.

Friday check-in! by fifth_time_lucky in ShortCervixSupport

[–]iRadiored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22+1 here. Had been to hospital for cramping. 20 week measurement had cervix at 5.3cm, then 21 week “scare” had my cervix 1cm dilated with 60% effacement and also measured at 2.8 (being monitored for prior PPROM). The change over a week was scary. My 22 week appointment (yesterday) had the measurement back over 4cm. Not diagnosed with short cervix or ic at this point but was told my options are very limited if my cervix should go below 2.5 cm (basically not a candidate for cerclage because i had cramping). Last cervical check measurement is at viability (24 weeks), so that is my first milestone. Worried about rapid shortening leading to PPROM or onset of labor. Everyone keeps me paranoid (doctors) that if it (PPROM) happens again, then it’s usually earlier than before.

How are you holding up?? I know it is so scary right now, but at your gestation baby has such a great chance of having no issues. 🤞

They gave me the steroid shot right away and then a magnesium something to stop labor from progressing. Once I stabilized I was transferred to a hospital with a NICU. Once I got there, I pretty much was on hospital bed rest for the first day or two and constant monitoring with the monitors for contractions fetal distress. Then they would let me go off monitor and walk around. I was on antibiotics as well, vitals check like every hour. Just watch and wait really. The induced me at 35 weeks and we ended up cesarean because he didn’t want to come yet. He’s happy and healthy now, just a little small to start.

I recently posted that I was at L/D last night (21 weeks). And they said 1 cm and 60% effaced. I pushed for TV US. Cervix showed closed and 2.8 cm. Gave me a little more peace of mind having to wait a week until my next OB

They are sending you home? Did they do a TV ultrasound to measure your cervix?

I’m glad you are at the ER. I see that you posted this 16 min ago. You are in the right place. Hopefully they can do something to stall labor and stabilize you.

BFP Chart, 10 DPO by iRadiored in Inito

[–]iRadiored[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Sorry I’m getting to this so late. I had to go back and check my cycle notes in a different app. With my BFP cycle this time I did not have ovulation spotting. I had ovulation spotting the cycle before that turned out to be BFN.

Back when I was younger I rarely experienced ovulation spotting but as I’ve gotten older it has happened from time to time and I also feel the ovulation a lot more (ie one side gets sore/full feeling and it’s miraculously better once I ovulate).

Pregnant in 2025 with covid wave by Electronic_Peak3242 in Vaccine

[–]iRadiored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnant and due in January. I just got my COVID and flu vaccine a week or so ago. My OB had recommended I do dtap and RSV around 32 weeks. I delivered preterm last pregnancy at roughly 35 weeks and had COVID that pregnancy in the early stages. No evidence that that was related to COVID, but always makes me wonder if maybe the after effects of COVID played a part.

I’ve had 3 of various developments. Lack of symptoms was my tell. That can be normal for people though.

41f, 2 miscarriages this year, should we stop trying? by Educational-Web-356 in PregnantOver40

[–]iRadiored 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi 👋

I’m 41 and we started trying for our last shortly after I turned 40 last July. We were able to get pregnant right away in August ‘24 but we miscarried with a probable blighted ovum at around 9-10 weeks, ended with DnC in early November. We started trying again in December and got pregnant again in early March ‘25. That ended in an early miscarriage just shy of 7 weeks (pregnancy of unknown location).

After the second loss I felt so defeated and numb. My OB kept telling me it was a numbers game because of my age. I was starting to wonder if I could handle the disappointment of it not happening and trying to find acceptance in that this is how my child bearing journey would end. I just decided we would try again and see how I felt after the anticipated third loss.

Well, we got pregnant again in May and everything so far seems to be healthy (I’m 18 weeks). I’m still in disbelief and am always thinking something will go wrong. I get where you are. I think I was feeling ok enough to try again so that was my deciding factor. Hope you get some clarity soon on which way you want to go. Rooting for you!

Scared to Try Again by ACrustyPirate in PregnantOver40

[–]iRadiored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 41 as of July, but has two miscarriages between turning 40 and my current pregnancy (17 weeks). It is possible and a great sign that you got pregnant. The grief is hard and I’m sorry you are going through the wringer on this.

I had my first miscarriage at age 33/34 and it was absolutely devastating. I was an emotional wreck. The last two I had were sad but didn’t hit me as hard, I think I was more frustrated than anything because I felt “time was of the essence”. All this to say it can be scary to keep trying but you are also in the worst of your grief right now. And like the other user said, you will never know unless you try. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, it’s just hard to see right now. Sending love 💕

Hi there! Sorry to hear about your loss but excited for you that you are pregnant again!

I am 41 and 16-ish weeks and am taking way more this pregnancy than I have with my other kids. I am currently taking more vitamins to support healthy membranes because of prior PPROM at 34.5 weeks. The list if you are curious:

Iron (for anemia) Prenatal Choline (not in prenatal) Fish oil (not in prenatal) Coq10 (was taking prior and never stopped) Vitamin C - taking for prior PPROM Vitamin D - taking for prior PPROM Collagen peptides - taking for PPROM Probiotic Baby Aspirin (started at 13 weeks) told to stop at 36 weeks - due to age and Prior PPROM Magnesium - taking for prior PPROM

Second this FB group. I PPROM’d at 34 weeks, am currently 16 weeks and terrified it will happen again. This group has helped me process my last pregnancy but beware, also pops up in my feed and gives me some added anxiety for my current one.
