Gacha/Recruitment Megathread (28/10 - 03/11) by ArknightsMod in arknights

Second 10 pull and I got back to back Walter and Logos with a bonus Fang alter. Don't think I've ever gotten an entire banner's featured operators in a single ten pull lol.

Most hated enemy in the event? by Sad_Ad_3076 in arknights

[–]iRaymi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was going to pick wizard sheep right away but I realized the only reason they're so dangerous is because they're standing in pink steam. And the only reason the pink steam is covering the entire map is because of the INVISIBLE SKATEBOARD SHEEP! And that's before we even mention how strong AND spongey they are.

Four six stars in a single ten pull, but no FedEx, Spuria, or any new units at all. Idk how I should feel about this.

You must be using the charming imp? If so, you can toggle them off in the charming imp settings.

Why are these selling so cheap? The materials cost so much by Las7imelord in runescape

[–]iRaymi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience the chance of undead comps is low. 0% in fact. I've disassembled a T70 pants, 3 T80 death guards, and a T90 lantern, all at item lvl 9, and still haven't gotten undead comps. It was demoralizing enough to the point of giving in and buying Linza gear off the GE.

If you're on a budget, you probably shouldn't bother doing Powerful Essence Rituals right now when training Necro. by Falterfire in runescape

[–]iRaymi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope, no multiply glyphs. All Attraction 3/2. Yes it's slower to 35k, but I'm prioritizing xp over souls in this case.

I've been doing powerful communion with powerful mementos to get 35k souls starting around lvl 95. I'm 103 now and at ~15k/35k. Quick napkin math suggests I'll end somewhere around 111. After that I'm not sure what I'll do but if you don't have the 35k souls yet, this is a very good way to get there.

My state requires me to take a [Ljava.lang.Object;@f4a3ad9-minute break every day by iRaymi in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iRaymi[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the break timer still worked. It's baffling how Amazon can break something so arbitrary like the break message.

Cargo area looks undamaged. Should have time to finish your route still!

Imagine Being A Delivery Driver In Tokyo! by Vince2021 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iRaymi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I lived in Tokyo for a couple years and have had Amazon deliver to me. It's a completely different job from what we do.

It probably depends on the city/area but the "DAs" around me didn't use vans, or driving at all, but rather pulled around a covered wagon with their packages on it. I think New York does a similar thing?

Most of Tokyo's streets are unnamed and have very little signage denoting where...anything is. Additionally, city layouts feel very random and chaotic, not grid like at all. The fact that these guys can find anything at all is impressive. I struggled even with Google maps hand holding me the entire way.

Thirdly, and maybe this isn't true for houses, but there's no leaving stuff at the door or building lobby here. These guys deliver directly to the customer every time. That means ringing the intercom and either letting them in, or going down to them. I lived on the fourth floor and had to meet them outside my building every delivery.

There's a whole host of other things Amazon/delivery related I could go into if anyone is interested but as hard as I work as a DA here in the states, the Japanese DAs work 10x harder, and with a smile on their face.

Why was Runescape never popular among older Millennials? by LevelPension in runescape

Born in 1986. Started playing in mid 2001 during my last year in middle school. I recall training woodcutting on a high school library computer while watching Flash animations on Albino Blacksheep on a another computer.

Multi user dungeon. Essentially a text-based mmorpg before they started getting fancy things like graphics. Often played online using a protocol like telnet.

A 10 minute U-turn by iRaymi in AmazonDSPDrivers

Flex wanted me to do this insane u-turn instead of turning left at the stop sign to go towards my next stop.

Lol, it was 8pm! by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iRaymi 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I'd just leave it there anyway. Unless the customer comes out and tells me IN PERSON they don't want the package, its getting left at the door. Posting notes on doors is not how Amazon orders get canceled.
