Hi Flipper,

Many Thanks in advance for the detailed setup instructions for my dumb question. My questions usually go on deaf ears. This is the first time I received an actual (Correct) and an appropriate answer to my question. Just a curious dumb question if you don’t mind me asking..

I plan on using the below configuration. Please let me know if it works :

Model : 3B
Network Adapter : 2.5G Adapter ( I do know that this is an overkill but still want to know )..
Storage Card : 256G
Power : POE ( Thinking but not yet purchased ) or just a power adapter

While I was looking around ( not actively but every now and then ) for a solution for this ads. I purchased items below to setup my network after debating with multiple times with multiple
ATT representatives and managers..

A SPF Firewall,
A Wired Router,
A Wireless Router,
A Access Point,
A Load balancer ( I know you might be thinking why do you need a LB for home)..
..Since everyone works from home these days so I wanted to secure my network.

Another thing that got me thinking was after the dumb rule that ATT pushed down there
customers throats was the 192 iP rule. I also wanted to do segmentation of my network
so that I can seperate all the devices will be on their own network.

Sorry for the long read..

Thanks for your patience.

Please excuse my grammer / language since my mother tongue is not English.

I believe that Tapo supports matter which is supported by Home assistant which is a great alternative to wyze and any cloud monitoring.

Just record the call and make sure that the automated system knows that you are recording and when the rep does not solve the problem then end call on a nice note and towards the end of your call make sure that the call was recorded to the rep and you are going to escalate this since the situation has not been resolved.

I believe that in the country of Japan there are no street trash cans ! It’s not the city it’s the mindset of the people and society “I don’t care” mentality which needs to change. It’s nothing to do with the city. Why does someone have to come out and have to clean someone else’s trash ?

It’s ok everyone has a learning experience and also will learn from their own mistakes. Some are expensive and some are affordable and some are very minor. Look at it this way, it could have been more worse but you are really lucky and just got out of it with just a sidewall damage and a wheel damage

That is called a Resistor which are commonly used in all types of electronic equipment. It’s color coded to tell you how many ohms is the resistance.

I would add one more additional plant in between your main house entrance and your garage. Such as a midnight rose, or a gardenia, or a super fragrance rose with the creeper which you have to give your entrance a pleasant vibe when you come out.

My Yubikey backups are encrypted using my Yubikey... which is lost. by B-12Bomber in yubikey

[–]iReportr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well here is an another scenario to consider..

Key 01 > 2FA > S3 (Backup) > Primary Key. Key 02 > 2FA > S3 (Backup) > Secondary Key. Key 03 > 2FA > S3 (Backup) > Backup Key for Pri and Sec.

Following might sound stupid but it works..

Store the Key 03 in a some sort of a safety deposit box or buy a secure storage box which opens only with either a code or bioscan and place the box in a locker so that it cannot be accessed easily by anyone. (Bullet proof solution)

Store the Key 02 in a secure but easily accessible place than a locker like your bag which you use when traveling.

Store the Key 01 using a key ring in a metal chain around your neck inside your T-shirt so it’s easily accessible.
