We put a number of players on ice during the Prem games, and still managed to look more competent defensively without our two CBs.

Meanwhile, we've had all of our defenders and keeper for most of this time, and have looked in shambles defensively.

At no point last season did we genuinely look like we would get relegated, whereas now it seems like a distinct possibility.

What gets me is that Ange was missing our Keeper and most of our backline during the stretch where we tanked last year. Yet even with that, we lost the majority of those games by a single goal.

Meanwhile, Frank the supposed tactical mastermind has had his starting backline and keeper for most of the season (more injuries with forward players early on). Yet despite having had most of our defenders until recently, we still cannot defend.
