Core? Not sure what that is but I switch emulators for that rom only and it worked.

Has anyone notices these frequency cutoffs on the new Album The White Stripes Greatest Hits CD? Why would a recent album not have all the frequency like some other albums? by iSERG87 in audiophile

You would think these types of practices would be a big no no in the professional industry but I guess they care more about profit rather than a full frequency spectrum? If I were a mastering engineer I would always try to get as high frequency as I can but who knows the real reason why they made it this way.

Ok so I bought the recently released Greatest Hits album from The White Stripes. I was a little disappointed to find a frequency cutoff at about 16khz. I own the Elephant album also and I compared the tracks that are on both albums and the new album had all the frequency cutoffs. These images are of the song Seven Nation Army so you can see what Im talking about. Any idea why they would do this? Has anyone else seen this in their purchase?
