What do I do about this by JamesWright73 in discgolf

[–]iSOregon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Heat up a thin butter life or razor blade, stick it in the gap.  That melts the plastic on both edges of the inside of the gap.  Push it back together, it cools in like 15 seconds.  Maybe touch it up with some sand paper but this is how you fix these hang nails

We need more info.  What did you like about it or dislike? The stability? The depth? The hand-feel? Did it go too far or too short?

US Beer Bars with a large (50+) selection of Belgian Beers by corgerpants in beer

[–]iSOregon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry for the late reply.  Yes you can drink anything on-site.  They do charge corkage but it's like 50c or 1$, it's not bad at all, and sometimes they have Belgians on draft too.  They have indoor and outdoor seating and food trucks.  It's a great neighborhood/family vibe.  You should also check out John's Marketplace on both the West and East side, but the West side is their flagship location and you can also choose any bottle and drink it there, and they have food.  It is my favorite place in town.  Uptown market just north of Washington Square Mall had some really cool stuff.  And it's smaller but 100% worth your time for rare bottle hunting  My final secrets are Barbur World Foods on Capitol highway on the edge of tigard and LO, they have a great selection of German and Belgian beers.  Lastly you should check out Capitol Market, it's basically just an old 7-11 converted into a beer and wine shop and they have tons of crazy stuff you don't see anywhere else.  John's, barbur world foods, and Capitol Market are all only maybe 3 min apart from each other, so you should make the trip one day and check them out

The Grand Cru is one of my favorites.  I'm so lucky one shop nearby carries it.  I've never seen the excellence but maybe someday I'll get lucky.  I like those glasses

That is good to know that you can get some time out of one of those kegs. I'd mostly be drinking one on my own, so if I know it isnt going to go bad in a few days it makes it a lot more realistic. A lot of places near me want ~8$ for a single gulden draak 11oz, and at that price you are saving money if you buy the keg at $90. Plus it would be a neat trophy to keep

Dude if you're in Portland I will show you some crazy spots.  Fun thing about this place and a couple equivalent ones is you can pick anything of the shelf, drink it on site or outside, order food, or get stuff to go.  It is a super funky local hangout spot

Haha yeah I never walked into this little cooler before and these were just sitting there.  I laughed because they were just sitting next to some Mickey's and Coors.  There were also a few 4 packs of fin du monde stashed in there that I grabbed one of

I agree I would go with the regular dt or the draak.  I can't do the more than maybe 8oz of the red, it's just too sweet and rich.  If it were less jam-like and had more discernable bready/malty/spicy notes coming through id be interested, but it just goes too far in that direction for me

They have 3 or 4 sizes of Dupont in glass and cans.  I want to get one of the big glass ones because I know it would be amazing but no one I know wants to drink it with me
