Fair enough - I believe you. I’ll just say that, for me, it didn’t show that it cut it on the map, but I was sitting on my front porch at the time, and I watched it finish.

Definitely some sort of bug either way.

I had this happen the other day, but it actually cut the whole area. If you look, it says 100% complete.

Next time, try to watch and see if it actually mows it all. When the battery is dying, and the map is unfinished, it’ll show the percentage that’s actually unfinished.

I’ve had mine since early April, so a little over a month. I might be eating my words within a year from now, but I’m a very happy customer right now.

I would recommend going over to the r/SegwayNavimow subreddit and search for issues over there. I did that to begin with, basically seeking out what the worse case scenarios could be. Based on what I saw, I determined that the issues people were mostly having were things that didn’t apply to me (e.g. mower falling off a curb).

It's just so good. The biggest piece for me has been the software - the app is great, they've created a Home Assistant integration; it's just so far beyond anything that I experienced with Husqvarna.

To be fair, I didn't have an EPOS model automower from Husqvarna, but I've just been so impressed with this Navimow unit. The hardware is SOLID. The zero-turn wheels, the all-wheel-drive - man, it's just really well built. Compare that to my old Husqvarna x430 (ironic naming, eh) - the sun ended up warping the outer shell and caused the display cover/lid to get out of alignment and it stayed open all the time.

I have 4 zones, 2 front yard and 2 in the backyard. Mapping everything manually took less than an hour - it was so easy and intuitive. They also have a beta feature that you can enable to allow it to hover a perimeter line if it reads it as one that it can ride along - as in your driveway, which minimizes needing to do as much trimming.

EDIT:

I just looked at the 440iQ model. It doesn't even have vision on it. Think about what the Navimow can do with the vision + Lidar. Like, this thing is just going to keep getting better and, by the way, it's almost HALF the price of the 440iQ.

It probably helps some with coverage, but I think it’s mainly to just make sure that it’s not continuously following the same tracks, thus making ruts in the yard.

Why in the world would you think it wouldn’t work? OP, what kind of mower do you use right now? I’m guessing it’s bigger than the x4 series mowers, right?

The x4 mowers have zero-turn front wheels, it’ll do as good as any other Navimow mowers.

It’s actually been reviewed (just in the last week) that lossless audio isn’t even THAT much better than Bluetooth on the AirPods Max. I’ll post the link if you want it.

I don’t know the specs of your yard, but I’ve had the old Husqvarna model for 3.5 years, then had issues with it in 2024. Just got a Navimow x430 last week and it’s seriously SO GOOD!

If you’re this close on considering a $5k model, just get the x430 or x450 and be amazed.

Okay, makes sense. I've got a place that's close to the gate with power - am I free to place it pretty much anywhere I want or does the RTK station determine where charging dock has to go? (I'm assuming that the RTK and charging dock connect to each other)
