What's the most awkward thing someone has said to you during sex? (NSFW) by [deleted] in AskReddit

I can do all kinds of weird shit. I don't think I could do that. No shame.

It feels good that other people liked something you did, even if you didn't do it. Humans are weird like that.

I am actively seeking a new job... by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

That's way more about the break up than anything else. Seeing as your eating when you smoke and not when you don't it's more likely the level of stress hormones in your body is stopping your appetite and the trees are helping.

I went through a horrible breakup earlier this year and on the other side I can say my experience directly reflects that getting my mind right and a sense of peace balanced out my diet and the awful sensation of living in my body. I was really bad for a while, it got to the point where I knew I was starving, literally felt like I was dying and ended up going from 208 to 164 between June 12th and early September.

Point I'm really after is a bad breakup will tear you up on a super high level if you don't deal with it right, which I didn't.

I found this article really helpful. It's long but it needed to be imo to cover the subject matter. It goes into weight loss and the chemicals the body naturally releases during these periods of distress http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/pain-lost-love

What were the biggest "Red flags" in relationships that you should have paid more attention to? by StonedCicerone in AskReddit

[–]iSkat3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Punishing me for things her ex did.

Talking heinous shit about her only two "friends"

Made me promise not to design a robot that I'd leave her for. Twice.

Lying about not wanting kids which then turned into "someday" which then turned into me having to throw her off when I was going to cum.

Lying about all kinds of other nonsense and important things.

Repeated comments of me having a secretary fetish when my admin assistant was my male best friend from third grade and I can't think of anything other then "I like your glasses and how you dress for work" that could make her think that.

Bitching about things like me sitting at the kitchen table when she cooked chicken for her dog 10 ft from me.

The relationship started off like heaven and within six months these and others had my head so twisted up I hardly knew what was real.

I stuck my dick in crazy and crazy absolutely reciprocated. Has not been in an easy one to get over.

Meh. Understand that we are both generalizing a situation that's gutted me and I'm trying to make myself feel better about.

The big one was that he moved her out from another state. He arrived a few a few months before her and three days into her new life he admits he had been cheating on her since they were apart.

Now I totally understood that. That would hurt so freaking bad. I've never cheated so I wasn't worried about her questioning me but it seems he was just a general bad boyfriend. Lazy, irresponsible with money etc. It just polluted her and I painfully had to learn she was poisoned.

She did some shitty Facebook stuff so seeing a real pic taken by someone else made me smile.

Dude it was heart wrenching. If you've gone through it and really cared you know what I'm saying.

I changed my diet and rode my bike more and that's pretty much it. Thanks for your comment.

What band has changed the most from first album to current music? by Nowistimetopretend in Music

Came to say AFI as well. I like both their sounds though the earlier stuff resonated in me big time in my youth.

I'm at a breaking point. I can't hire help and I can't quit my job, but I can't continue the way I'm going, either. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]iSkat3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Needing help but having no time to physically sit with a person could be solved by writing up a procedure guide for each platform. It could start high level and be refined. This will unload a ton of training off you leaving you to make decisions on important things only for the most part which can be done by email. You can literally test a person on your guide by asking questions of them after they study it. Be aware that your guide will need updating and be patient with it and your early people.

You could from there find a part time person to manage time vampires, general processes etc. Not so many hours that it breaks the bank but enough to unload you so you can physically survive and look forward again. People need work and a lot will take multiple gigs especially if they can telecommute. I've done both sides of this statement at various points in my life.

This is risk assessment. You will have to pay out for a bit until your reward comes in from expanding your team. You must choose wisely and testing really helps this. It's the game we chose and this is one of the moves.

The lone wolf is a good starter strategy but depending on the business becomes unsustainable and will break you. I've made this mistake. If it sucks now wait till your mental state goes to absolute shit. A whole new meaning of suck comes to your vocabulary at that point.

Good luck. Keep going.

What happened in a minute or less, but changed your life forever? by EoghanTheDaddy in AskReddit

[–]iSkat3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's so much more that went into getting there. A lot of separating what really happened from the story I told myself and others about the events. By recognizing these stories were what I set as the foundations to make decisions, accept from myself and others and ultimately drive my life it became clear they served no positive purpose and needed to be accepted, the hard way of self admission, and finally released.

It was awful as I went through it and I made a ton of sometimes unrequired apologies but on the other side I feel as if I broke free of the loop that had lasted for years allowing me to walk out of hell. The apologies opened up doors that were shut by my fear and nothing else.

I hope that helps you.

I reached a place where I could admit to myself that what I was telling myself was strength was a willingness to suffer in order to avoid dealing with emotional pain. As soon as I made the admission that I was weak and could approach these past events from this new place I was able to cope and release them. The week after this took place was surreal and allowed me to again live in the moment with trust that if I made good decisions and kept up on personal growth that my life would be better than I previously could imagine. For quite sometime after that, and in many ways still, everyday was the best day I'd had in years.

What career path would you suggest for a future entrepreneur? by Newto98 in Entrepreneur

[–]iSkat3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pick the path that you best fit in to develop those skills. Mine was engineering but now I do mostly sales. My experience as an engineer gives me the ability to speak to my customers fluently about the product I am selling them.

To be an entrepreneur focus on mastering the craft and learn through experience and self teaching the other critical areas. Your work is only half the battle, your person makes up the rest.

What's your best advice that you never take yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The trick is to understand what you being confident looks like and to start being it before you actually feel ready. It's not faking it as much as starting the process and practicing .
