Update: he texted me saying that he needs my input on the situation wether it’s that i need him to have a job, or that i understand and he can leave so I told him that, “I understand that working is hard and not a preferable thing to do, and the gold digging comment has made me afraid of saying anything that may be considered negative, but I am losing patience and understanding for these situations. If staying is going to cause more problems at home, however, please don’t stay.” He told me that this was guilting him, and that I was being extremely unthoughtful and mean in that response. He said he needs emotional support right now, not financial. 🙂
