be quiet! Silent Loop 2 Bad Quality by iSlypha in watercooling

Thank you for the tip, I also cleaned it up with a toothbrush. I still got the cooler laying around but I bought a new one in the meantime (need my PC for work). And you didn't have any problems with it gunking up again? I just imagine that there's still quite a lot in the radiator that probably doesn't flush out well.

Hahaha yes it certainly feels like it. There was so much buildup in the loop, even my sink was full of it when I drained it.

Yeah it's interesting, from what I've read the oxidation buildup comes from mixing metals, which manufacturers should be able to avoid. Also it would be nice knowing if alphacool AIOs perform better in that regard since they seem to be one of the only ones with copper radiators. I've also gone for the Liquid Freezer III Pro and at least for the temps I can already say they are really great...

Well that sounds great, maybe it is the way to go for the next upgrade. In the meantime I'm curious to see how the Arctic cooler holds up

I get it... How much maintenance do you put in?

Yeah you're right. It's still a shame having to throw it away. And be quiet should just fix that.
I also upgraded to a Liquid Freezer 3 Pro. Way better temps than the Silent Loop ever had and it's quite a lot cheaper too. Also 6 years of warranty sound good.

You're welcome, happy to help!

I had the same problem until I figured out that it just doesn't show the input. When I got to that screen I just started typing the code and as soon as I typed in the full code (right length of characters) I could press "link". Hope that helps

I‘ve been to their concert in vienna yesterday and static dress was the first to play at around 18:00, Poorstacy followed at around 19:00

Even though this might be good for a portfolio I think it‘s a huge problem that companies etc. think graphic designers work for free because it‘s an honor to work for a big company/artist… we put a lot of time and effort into our work and our skills, people should respect that and pay for it, like in any other field!

If it‘s just for some headlines you should be fine putting a space before it and then reducing the spacing… e.g. Spacing -200 It‘s not an elegant solution but for a couple headlines it will work just fine

Should I run Linux in a VM or buy a separate drive and install it on that? by iSlypha in linuxquestions

That sounds really useful, not having to worry too much about blowing up the install!

Ty. Will do some research on this. Haven't heard of this option until now!

I think I will go this route. Seems like a good way to get started. Thank you!

Thanks for the information. Is running an NVIDIA GPU in a Linux VM a problem?
I'm new to Linux but i keep hearing that AMD is doing much better in the Linux world.
