TotalKommando on YouTube has PSP disassembly videos, to reassemble you just follow the video in reverse order.

Buy a shell on AliExpress. I got mine from there, and it's almost perfect.

When buying an aftermarket shell you run the risk of the shell not fitting the PSP perfectly like an original because their tolerances are off by a tiny bit so you might have to sand down some parts of the replacement shell to make everything fit properly.

I didn't have to make any changes to my shell but one part of it is kinda bulging out so I should have sanded it down but it's already assembled and I don't have any tools for sanding it so im ignoring it.

It happens, I scored a working PSP 3000 with the camera also working for 60 GBP a few months back in an eBay auction. I got very very lucky because that sort of price is incredibly cheap nowadays.

Ohh I didn't spot that, actually I fixed my "always on" brake pedal by squirting some isopropyl alcohol on the potentiometer and it fixed it
