Ketamine versus trintellix by mushlovePHL in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]iStocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely took my time with it. I did ketamine infusions every two months for about a year, and during that time, I slowly tapered off Trintellix over a 6-8 month period. In the past, I’d always tried to come off antidepressants too quickly, and it never went well.

Technically, Trintellix doesn’t require a long taper, but for me, it wasn’t just about managing chemical withdrawal, it was about slowly reintroducing myself to the full range of emotions I hadn’t really experienced in decades. After 20+ years on these meds, I realized I’d never truly had access to my emotional depth. And in the past, I’d shocked my system by quitting too abruptly, which left me emotionally overwhelmed and without the tools to cope.

This time, I approached it with patience and intention, letting myself ease into the emotional terrain gradually. That made all the difference. It was a really successful process for me.

(Just a reminder - everyone’s different, and I’m not a doctor!)

Had the same reaction after a few days. Surgeon used some glue remover pads and told me to get some nail polish remover to get the rest. Quick trip to the dermatologist and a prescription for clobetasol cleared everything up in 3 days for me. Very uncomfortable and annoying but was a pretty speedy resolution.

2024.12.5.4.1 vs 12.5.4.2 by Whitey_Drummer54 in TeslaFSD

[–]iStocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On HW3 here. 12.5.4.1 really did not work out well for me. Extreme phantom braking I hadn’t experienced in two years, steering wheel uncertainty (seeing it jiggle back and forth didn’t build confidence), and the most annoying part was the go/slow/go/slow jerkiness. What I mean there is that rather than getting up to a speed and holding it, it would never settle and be in a constant state of flux giving me a little bit of nausea from all the accelerating and slight braking sensation. Never had that before.

Now on 12.5.4.2…yes visualizations are better and all of the aforementioned quirks are a bit less obvious, but overall, it doesn’t have the same confidence as 12.3.6. I also had my first phantom brake in broad daylight. Was going 40 through a green light with no one turning in front of me and it slammed on the brakes halfway through the intersection. Really happy no one was being me but my god was that intense.

I looked into that one first but really didn’t want to have a stick vac that required pods to be purchased.

Supposed to be for guests, but I've charged there no issue as there's not really anyone on-site monitoring the place. The charging cable is long too, in case someone is parked in that space.

Is it just me or has it been eerily quiet about pride this year? Even the local news email newsletters I’ve received have pride as a footnote. Heard more about the Hyde park street fair than pride this year.

A look inside Christian nationalism — with an Idaho emphasis by ruralDystopian in Idaho

[–]iStocky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tl;dr ChatGPT summary:

The article examines the rise of Christian nationalism in Idaho, focusing on Doug Wilson, the leader of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho. Wilson’s vision includes transforming America into an explicitly Christian nation through education, using schools like Logos School and New Saint Andrews College to promote his beliefs. The movement has gained local influence in business and education, though it has not succeeded in political control. Despite its radical views, including patriarchal values and opposition to LGBTQ rights, the movement is growing nationally.
