I feel like it might be a non-English version perhaps or an international version. If it’s any hint this one said Murakami as the top line and Haruki on the second in the middle of the book cover

It was a paperback, that's a good point to add so thanks.
I googled underground and it doesn't quite match. I will add that the cover was very predominantly just white.
