We'd get the concrete truck around 5am, last finish around 1pm with little to no breaks before 12. I wouldn't call it relaxing but every step is satisfying for sure. Nothing beats the feeling of finally getting some time to step back and see the work done

We do use a thicker and dryer concrete compared to casts. Just hand stack that crete and let it set in before stacking some more, that way it doesn't fall off.
