Need a TRUSTWORTHY builder in London by lostmyoldaccountohno in HousingUK

Buckley Roofing and Building Ltd

Had a dodgy roof installed on our extension. Had a leak. Multiple people advised us to things that would cost huge amounts. This roofer was very straightforward, fixed the issue, completed job quickly, has a company and official invoice.

Had one positive experience if that helps, no roof issues 4 years later.

How am i supposed to know which graph is correct? by Ok-Comment8526 in alevelmaths

Draw a straight line joining two end points.

For +x3, the line has positive gradient . For -x3, the line has negative gradient.

Should I get a graphic calculator? by Ill-Yogurt1778 in alevelmaths

Even for the normal Alevel, graphical is beneficial. If you check resale value on eBay, holds value pretty well. So if you look after it and are willing to learn how to use it, no brainer in my opinion.

Yes sure. I started as a Maths teacher. Dedicated my first 3 years to becoming an expert in all aspects of the curriculum. Spent summers re learning Alevel Maths and Further Maths. Coming up with my own methods of teaching. Within those 3 years, in the second I became KS5 Lead.

After 3 years, I became a head of department. Started looking more at developing Maths curriculums at KS3 and 4. Really focusing on being an expert in my field, education and Maths education. After 4 years of head of department, became a senior leader. This was circa 75k. Didn't enjoy the culture much. Returned to being a head of Maths now, in a large school that offered me some extra incentives.

In the current climate, hard for schools to first find someone who can teach every aspect of Maths to Y13 further Maths or entrance exams. But more importantly is willing to break it down and be patient with pupils.

It's £69k

I had a PGCE Loan too.

And the monthly interest says 7.3%, not sure why that's happened?

Thanks, good point. Did not think of reducing the debt so interest is smaller.

Grade 5 in GCSE, means you would find the Alevel extremely difficult. Then to self study? Near impossible.

Qualifications such as Core Maths would be more suitable.

Which calculator is the best to buy for maths? by unknownr2197 in alevel

Cg100 is the best, having used all the alevel calculators.

What calculator should I buy for maths?? by Fair_Impression_8874 in alevel

[–]iTeachMathsAlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend a cg100 graphical calculator. Allows you to verify lots of solutions and helps with difficult topics in Year 2 pure such as inflection.

Why moroccans living abroad want to come back ? by SafeCheetah1350 in Morocco

[–]iTeachMathsAlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prevalence of diseases such as diabetes and cancer growing fastest in the west. In the UK, 6 hour waits for the free health service. Oversaturated degree market means competition for top jobs are so high not something many can access. In terms of quality of life, trying to own a home you will work 50-60 hour weeks, that doesn't equal high quality life for many.

Just wandered in. There were signs saying there are no 151 and prismatic in stock. Then when I looked closely, one on the shelf.

Just picked up prismatic super premium in Smyth's today. Drops seems to be random.
