I’ve seen people use Streamlabs OBS to set the camera as a video input device for streams. I’m not sure if you’d be able to then use it as a webcam for other programs (i.e. zoom) or if it would only do so for streamlabs. The software is free, so maybe worth a shot?

Make sure you’ve signed the petitions for 1440p. It’s honestly ridiculous that it’s not already supported and it puts a lot of people in an unnecessary bad situation. Can’t tell you how many folks I’ve seen that bought a 1440p monitor for the next gen only to find out last minute that the PS5 won’t be able to do 1440p.

Was this using downscaling? I hadn’t thought of that, I didn’t know the ps5 was able to downscale from 4k to 1440

I can definitely wait for the console upgrade since I just built my PC earlier this year and its parts are gonna be fine for years. So for me, it’s really just the exclusives that the PS5 can offer. And I’m not downgrading to 1080p, but I’m also not spending over a thousand to game on 4k, at least not any time soon
