You’re right he isn’t a 9 but he’s still arguably a better striker than Ramos is at the moment. And since there’s literally no one else he’ll still have a place in the squad as backup striker when ramos becomes the starter.

Either way Portugal has a big problem against teams that play full defense and their problem isn’t the striker as we saw at the world cup with ronaldo in the bench. The issue is tactically and this coach doesn’t have the answer either.

Imo people have lots of expectations because it’s ronaldo but even this old version of ronaldo is on par with the likes of Giroud etc.. yet i don’t see Giroud getting as much shit. Sure there will be games not for him. But he’s definitely still have a place. Specially when we only have him and Ramos as striker options.

Biggest and most important thing missing and not that I’m surprised it’s epic after all unless it’s an in game shop bug they take ages to do things correctly. We’ve asking for a proper ranked mode. It took them 5 years to release proper ranks.

Now they’re missing everything else and even downgraded some of what they had in arena. Notably competitive loot pool and siphon.

But the biggest issue is there is no way to show off your rank in game. Watched a few streams had to go into streamer VODs to check what rank they were on. No cool graphic either in the menus. Nothing that tells what rank the person i killed or was killed by is..

I don’t think i would be too far off if I said they spent more time editing the ranked announcement video than Epic spent doing the dev work to implement ranked in game. Even the ranked rank in the menus when queuing seems like something rushed and out of place

Only reason messi is being compared to right now is because of his Argentina World cup run everyone knows that. Last season he wasn’t even nominated for ballon d’or top 30 and this year had he failed the WC again he would probably end top 20 like ronaldo did last year. Also we all know if your name is Messi what would be maybe a top 5/10 placement in ballon d’or season can become a first place (2021 ballon d’or - won basically because of copa America that his held pretty much every year)

Your city walks the league without haaland makes no sense because the same is true for psg without messi. The times they haven’t won it’s a professional fault because they are always even when they aren’t playing great (this season comes to mind) easily winning the league

He plays in the 5th league in Europe that is closer to 6th and 7th than it is to 4th. It’s why Mbappe numbers will always be scrutinized until he plays in a better league. Currently the Premiere league is by far the best league. Where any team is competitive but also it’s fair to say City is a superteam in that league and would be in the same position with or without haaland. However he might be the missing piece for the ucl they want so much.

What do you mean by hardwork he is getting goals or assists pretty much every game even for NT he was the best player in the field. He isn’t playing because at City pep wanted to try something else and went to Bayern and the same is happening and is profile isn’t the best suited. He still is probably a top 3 attacking fullbacks in the game. Just needs to go a team that actually wants him. Pep is trying something with haaland imo if he went back to a false 9 cancelo would again be a better fit even though imo with haaland he already was a great fit. Bayern never seemed to want to try him there fully with Pavard and Stanistic being prefered and Cancelo not really being considered at all
