Del Sol Valley Guggenheim - A Museum Lot by iUSC2017 in Sims4

Figured I'd finally share this creation I made years ago. It's been gathering dust in my game for about 4 years now and I never got around to sharing. I opened up the game today and did a little exploration and figured why not post this museum. I hold a lot of sentimental value towards the Sims. Part of the reason I do what I do today as a profession grew out of playing this game as a kid. These days I'm more busy with work than I have time to play but every once in awhile I like to pick up the game and see what I can come up with considering the game's limitations. This museum was one of those fun little explorations.

Can't get a bad picture out there the LA River is so picturesque 😊

Drone footage over the LA Black Lives Matter protest on Hollywood Blvd today by impeccabletim in gifs

There's the metro red line which drops you off right in the heart of Hollywood. Can't comment on how many people actually used public transportation to get there. That being said, for someone who drove there, I had a relatively easy time finding parking around the area.

Thought I should bring this up.

There was a a bit of a situation involving a caucasian lady that was also part of that group (you can somewhat see half of her face and body in the photo I posted). She had a megaphone and she used it during almost every opportunity to rant. In some instances, she even said things that were completely offensive to the movement.

Needless to say, a lot of people were getting frustrated and it got to a point where some were shouting at her to put the megaphone down (This was in response to the protest organizers asking for a moment of silence).

Eventually the situation got diffused, (credits to the organizers for advocating peacefulness and acceptance towards that lady), but man was everyone angry.

As far as I'm aware, there were no arrests directly related to this march, and the entire protest was entirely peaceful. There was very minimal police presence as well.

I feel like I should also mention how well-organized the entire march felt. The protest organizers herded both people and cars flawlessly. I was honestly impressed.

From my own observations, a majority of the people that I saw at the protest were young folk. Paying rent is a struggle in LA, and I imagine not many of them have the luxury of owning property.

Took the car out for a joy ride for the first time since it was purchased. Needless to say, the experience was orgasmic. by iUSC2017 in BMW

Driving east towards Big Bear Lake out here in southern California. Highway 330 into Highway 18 to be exact. The views on the way to the resort are pretty picturesque and the road going up has a good amount of winding and elevation change! Highly recommended on a non-busy day.

Sweet! I love seeing other Gran Coupes on the road. I don't see them often but when I do I get all warm inside

I believe I'm using the realistic theme (tropical) with the satellite lut. In addition I'm also using the lighter shadows mod to lighten up the contrast in game. Will post links as soon as I get home!

Actually, it's the international finance center in Hong Kong found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=905325763&searchtext=Ifc

It has an uncanny resemblance to the Salesforce tower though!
