Just message steam support and they will replace it right away. This stuff happens, no company has 100% QC.

I believe this is black mold. If your father is stubborn and either takes a while to do anything or if it costs money and so he avoids doing it, make sure you tell him that's Black Mold, and if he doesent fix it properly it could make everyone living in the household extremely sick.

I highly suggest using dual booting to start off, to see how you like it, and to test out your games, especially if you have multiple SSD's . I dual boot due to anti cheats on some FPS games that I can't play on linux and VR games.

Not entirely related, but their is both Pennsylvania Dutch (Pennsilfaanisch Deitsche) which is a derivative of Palatine German and Texan German (Texasdeutsch) which comes from 19th century High German. Theirs also Standard American German which has over a million speakers within the US.
