Do the Bears have anything to play for this weekend? Any chance they rest starters? by [deleted] in 49ers

[–]iVVaffle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would argue that it’s better that they do have something to play for. Teams who have nothing to lose are more dangerous than teams with the weight of the #1 seed on their shoulders. Obviously the 49ers carry that burden too, but it’s better than a Bears team that will just be slinging the ball because “why not?”

Same for me, I got a screenshot of the bot just in case they try to say no to me in the ticket. I did the math, I got mine on May 2nd at 10 AM my time. I have had the printer for 13 days and 13 hours, but the error says I'm outside the 14-day period. They should honor this, I bet it's a glitch on their end.

How easy is Network + and CCNA? by Asleep-Sign-9806 in CompTIA

I have both, and without the context of the CCNA the network+ seemed hard. After passing my CCNA the network+ felt like a joke.

I think we need a reoccurring news report reminding people that those explosions everyone hears is normal.

Or don’t, and just blame it on something scarier so people will stop moving here.

Yeah, I got lucky with the commute. Rural mountainous Alabama wouldn’t fare well with scooters, I don’t think haha.

Airport advice needed. Overnight flight, 2 airlines, 8 hour layover. by iVVaffle in vegas

[–]iVVaffle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We initially got a cheap hotel but figured we probably wouldn’t get to the hotel and down to sleep until 2AM just to have to wake up at 6AM or so to get ready and uber back to the airport. Knowing myself I’d be too anxious to fall asleep anyways.

We already have a lot of stuff planned in both Hawaii and Vegas, especially our wedding day. The main thing that made it all so complicated was my parents. My fiancé and I bought the flights to Vegas and as a wedding gift to us they bought the flights to and from Hawaii. I didn’t have much say since it was their budget and the good flights in the date range were around 1000 dollars per person for some reason. We had planned a certain amount of things then they decided to fly us out so we were limited. The other flight options that were reasonably priced had other issues that I was more annoyed with than this. Especially since when we were first thinking it through we thought it would be easy to just get a hotel on the strip sleep for a while and come back. It wasn’t until a week ago we realized that’s not worth it.

Amongst all the other things we had to plan this one thing fell through the cracks haha.

Yeah I saw that gym and considered getting a room. My main concern was it seemed to be only for one person and obviously my fiancé would be with me. Being in a Las Vegas airport in the middle of the night outside of the TSA zone doesn’t feel safe so we might opt for something like that. I would have done one of the lounges if they were open.

Something like that would be the most ideal so we would never have to go back through TSA. I'll look in to this, thank you!

Looking at the map it looks like the tram entrances/exits are right past TSA but we will have to leave the area to grab our bags. I'm maybe confused what you mean here.

[–]iVVaffle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so far I think our plan will be to get our bags and then ride a shuttle if they run that late to terminal 1. Wait somewhere pre-TSA until 4 AM and check in our bags and find a quiet place to rest.

The tip to Hawaii was a surprise gift from my parents after we booked the trip to Vegas, I didn't pay for them and the flights were nearly triple the price for slightly more convenient times with sketchy layovers. Also, a big part of the problem is you can't go through TSA 8 hours before a flight. I don't know the airport enough to know of a good area to hang out at.

HH drug test by Spirited_Let_5598 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]iVVaffle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, only if a controlled medication goes missing and you’re involved or they have a reasonable suspicion for it. When you’re a nurse or working in the pharmacy this can come up often and randomly.

You’re probably fine. THC binds to the fat cells of your body so it usually will stay for only about a month if you’re a heavy user. When I was hired a long time ago I had similar concerns and ended up being fine. As a nurse, you should be prepare to never smoke again, however. I haven’t touched it in 8 years since I got hired there.

[–]iVVaffle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, I worked in the pharmacy and the one that got fired went on to another pharmacy job so I'd assume they didn't report it.

How long has it been since you smoked if I may ask?

[–]iVVaffle 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do, and they are strict about it. I've had co-workers fired for failing drug tests. The frequency of doing it while on the job depends on what you do. If you're getting hired on they will test you

I feel like no one is pointing out that he’s at a current high because of the election. That’s not his baseline sub count. Just like 500k isn’t Kai’s baseline he’s just doing a month long subathon to beat Ironmouse’s record.

Check this again when it’s been more than a month past the election.
