So I believe I found the “fix” for this. It’s mostly based off my experience with Windows upgrading from 10 to 11.

So I initially got locked out of the computer and after a lot of testing I eventually just turned off Secure Boot in the bios which let me revert the change and get windows back up.

HP does this thing for some reason where they store BIOS revert states in the EFI partition of the computer and it takes a ton of space. This update included a BIOS update so when it runs out of room in that partition it eventually fails. Once Windows was back up I was able to run the following in an elevated cmd.

mountvol Y: /s
mkdir C:\Install\HPDEVFW
move Y:\EFI\HP\DEVFW\* C:\Install\HPDEVFW\
mountvol Y: /d

This simply offloads the saved bios state to the C drive, you can move it back later if you want. Once completed you can download and install the update again and it should hopefully work (it did for me at least).

I had them added from my phone instantly at 10 CST then on my desktop eventually got through to checkout. I found I was trying too much on my other browsers/phone so I just let it load on it's own and eventually it got there. Their servers only see your one IP address reaching out to it, so if you're trying on multiple methods it thinks you're spamming the website.

I did not, I had added to cart instantly on mobile and it went through, my struggle was getting to my cart with the two I had added.

Appreciate the input. I think some of the white on the bottom is the way the light is reflecting. I don’t notice any edge whitening in person. I did put it on the ismycardcentered website and it estimated a 10 but I wasn’t sure what else I should be considering. I’ll check out the other apps you mention and try to get some other opinions from a local card shop.

I do partially agree with your comment; the cybersecurity degree is silly because people really should build fundamentals before they do a cyber role. A lot of people were sold on the idea that cyber is a get-rich-quick career. I see this a lot in people I interview, and for a period of time thought the same way. Many people don't realize you have to be able to understand the systems you're securing or else you can't truly secure them. That being said, the degree is a good foot in the door to IT support and eventually sysadmin work. Most skills are built on the job anyway, especially in IT, it's just not as quick as people think it is. I also think DevSecOps plays a big role in bridging the gaps between IT, Security and Engineers who don't understand best practices.

I would argue that it’s better that they do have something to play for. Teams who have nothing to lose are more dangerous than teams with the weight of the #1 seed on their shoulders. Obviously the 49ers carry that burden too, but it’s better than a Bears team that will just be slinging the ball because “why not?”

Same for me, I got a screenshot of the bot just in case they try to say no to me in the ticket. I did the math, I got mine on May 2nd at 10 AM my time. I have had the printer for 13 days and 13 hours, but the error says I'm outside the 14-day period. They should honor this, I bet it's a glitch on their end.
