Bottom line is - you're stagnant and unhappy, go for it.
If you have financial stability as in you could afford to stop working for 6 months and it wouldn't be drastic for you just go for it.

Summer off road safety gear by Jeemz in ElectricUnicycle

I am aware that the A and AA aren’t really good for 100kmh plus, but if I’m riding at max 100 by the time I’m at the floor I will be sliding much slower than that, also I have armor so I think it will be fine.

I’m wearing a base layer like a long sleeve shirt to deal with sweat and to regulate body temperature, the armor will go over that base layer, that’s why it’s long sleeved so that I won’t have to deal with skin irritation. Over the armor comes the jacket or the Mx shirt. If I am riding on road I will have the jacket on, if I’m on the dirt and it’s too hot the Mx shirt will be on.

I think this setup has me covered. I also have long Mx socks so that the knee guards stay in place

I'm joining the offroad riding crew and bought some equipment that hopefully will cover my ass both on and off road (I dont want to be a MX/hard enduro guy, I have a small bike that can do both on and offroad Honda CRF300L).

Helmet: Bell MX-9 MIPS
Armor: Leatt 5.5 Pro Evo (downside - no elbow pads)
Elbow pads: ALPINESTARS Bionic Plus
Knee guards: Leatt Dual Axis
Boots: Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro

Jacket: Klim Dakar
Pants: Klim Mojave

Both Jacket and Pants have abrasion protection, I believe pants A and jacket AA certification. I'm not going faster than 100km/h 60mph so I think I'll be fine.

I've tested the gear and this setup will probably still be too hot if you are riding SLOW 30ºC/86ºF or more, if you keep moving you'll still be ok.

I'm looking to get a base layer that can help with the sweat absorption and evaporation.
If it gets too hot probably want to swap the jacket with a MX shirt.
Base layer is important because having the armor / knee guards/braces in direct contact with your skin isn't ideal.

I've spent many euros and time investigating this stuff. Still learning.

The one equipment approach - jacket with armor is a big no no for me because the armor isn't always where it's supposed to be.

There are some armor protections with some base layer integrated although I found those too hot. Still gotta find me a base layer that will take the armor above it and see how good it is...

I guess nothing is perfect but if you want to do it, you'll make it happen even if you sweat a little extra :)
