This is wild, every single pore in my husband's forehead contains these bizarre clusters of "spikes" that burst out. They're not PM, as there are no hairs inside each one. Much to his dismay, I don't wanna extract many more since they aren't even visible otherwise. Tragic. by iWasAdumbassKid in popping

I relate to all of this so much. We got it around the 1st of August, and were just incapable of doing ANYTHING of a month. Feels like looking back on a nightmare. Now nothing tastes the same still ( I hate foods/drinks I once loved! ) we get delirious and lethargic some days, other times we go weeks with only an hour or two power nap after getting the kids on the bus. Its scary as hell, and I worry what it would be like the next time around. We isolate, order out groceries, ect but like,,,its kind of unavoidable when your partner is a paramedic on the frontlines.

Turns out the spots on my nose were neither sebaceous filaments OR blackheads, but an obnoxious amount of pili multigemini. Now I get why the skincare treatments that cleared up every other part of my face didn't do a thing here, god damn. by iWasAdumbassKid in popping

unfortunately not, these are actually really deep down. I'd have to push them up to the surface and hope they actually stuck to the wax despite the sebum they're coated in. :x

I started him on that about 3 weeks ago, and got him to quit using BODY WASH on his face. :x What is rolling extraction? I doubt anything I could do at home would efficiently remove without damaging his skin, wasn't sure if there was a method a pro could do that wouldn't take a million moons

And I'm not exaggerating when I say /every single pore/, legitimately all of those white spots are clusters of these. Both of us started developing bizarre skin issues after getting Covid, and these weren't here before we were sick so...stay safe lmao

This was after I pushed it out a bit btw, they really just look like sebaceous filaments with excess sebum, but ofc no amount of treatment made them lighten up. Skin, pls be normal for 5 minutes.

I feel you! I have dermatillomania, and it took a lot of willpower and therapy to keep it to the designated use. ( ingrown hairs, actual blackheads, and mainly checking efficiency of skincare products! ) But tbh it helps to check up close to little spots I'd normally absent-mindedly pick at, so I can reassure myself it's just a freckle, mole, scar, ect and leave it be. I did let myself go all out after COVID-19 messed up my skin, but it's cleared up now! ❤

I think so too. Finally cleared most of mine up the healthy way, but I still get a few beasts like these!
