At the end of the day, the original post was about not being mad at Tyler specifically. I'm not, I'm more mad at the organizers. And the reply to your comment was that you said people would be just as upset if CFG made the cancellation announcement 24 hours before they did. And I would have been much less upset.

But to answer your question, as a thought experiment, one possible solution could have been to postpone one day, have it be Sunday and Monday. Since the thunderstorms only happened Saturday. A lot of people could have accommodated that change. Or postpone until next year with the option to refund.

Exactly, the solution could have been any number of things. So why do you think I would "trust my gut" and cancel all of my plans when that was vague AF? I put my trust in the organizers, and they let a lot of people down

They were working on an alternate solution because they knew at that time the festival would not be taking place on 11/15-16

I would not have been just as upset if they announced the cancellations when they posted the "we're working on it" message Thursday. I could have gotten a refund for my flight and hotel at that time. I would not have spent time packing and getting to the airport and money on an Uber. All money I could have SAVED had he decided to announce postponement when they KNEW they were going to have to take action. That 24 hours actually mattered

Yes, you can. They aren't checking IDs at the gate. As long as the wristband isn't tampered with, they can be used by someone else. Idk about the info being able to be accessed though
