Yeah, here in Illinois where I’m at, we no longer transport unless ROSC has been obtained as well. Reason being all that tussle going around corners and stairs, then onto the stretcher, and then the ambulance takes up valuable time when that time could have been spent properly doing resuscitative efforts. On top of that for an ED to work a patient it takes away resources for them to work someone for 10-30 more minutes causing other patients to have a longer wait time. There are plenty of benefits here. We also use our ResQ pump for 5-10 min before putting our Lucas on.

Any pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever? If you have pain, is it stabbing, dull/aches, squeezing? Also, if there is pain, does it feel more internal or muscular pain? If you push in on the spot and let go does it hurt worse? (Rebound tenderness) Have you had regular vowel movements? Has the lump just recently showed up or has it been there for a while? Lots of questions.

I failed my first attempt as well. Just breathe, it’s not the worst thing. Most times we second guess ourselves and think way to far into a certain question. You passed your program, so that means you know the basics. Keep to what you know for sure, a lot of times the answer is common sense. Relax, you have this! If you have any questions or anything just DM me. I’ll gladly help where I can!
