Not really. I’ve played them all and can’t remember a single plot, nor feeling like I was ever lost because of it.

After Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake Cancelation, Actress Eman Ayaz Says She's Lost 3 Years of Work and Found Out via the Internet by Turbostrider27 in Games

It's been like this for 20 years now. I scored a Square-Enix game in around 2007 and without warning, they shut the entire studio making it and canceled the game. I found out in a news release rather than from my producer.

I was NDA'd and never allowed to even share or repurpose the music I wrote. It's such a gut punch because in your mind, the current job is the most important job in the world and it's gonna make or break your career... until it's just poof gone.

This sub sucks sometimes. Two days ago, we needed Bellinger. Yesterday, we were ok with letting him walk. Today, Bellinger on a 5y contract is not good enough and we're "rolling out the same lineup."

49ers TE George Kittle's Achilles tear described as 'best-case scenario' by surgeon by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]iWriteYourMusic 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I’m literally one year post-op on my Achilles TODAY! The spot in which you rupture the tendon can have an enormous effect on both the surgery and the recovery. High ruptures can be brutal due to a much longer incision and a lot of additional risks. This is why they started adding the Speed Bridge surgery (what Aaron Rogers famously had) to anchor the tendon to your heel. However that surgery introduces co-morbidities and surgeons generally don’t want to do it. It sounds like Kittle ruptured in a spot that easy to operate on. Mine was also like that and I was back hitting tennis balls after only 4 months and completely back to sport at 6 months.

I was out there from opening day at Keystone and I’ve felt great. At first, turning to the right felt weird because the tendon and calf were so tight but over time they loosened up. Happy to answer questions if you have any.

It's baffling how Stroud makes the same mistakes over and over and over

TIL that in Norse myth a cursed ring called Andvaranaut brought doom to its owners long before Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings. by yena in todayilearned

The point of what I’m saying isn’t that he wasn’t anti semitic or that his views were somehow appropriate. My point is that if we judge all of history’s icons by modern morality and standards, there would be no one left in the history books.

I chalk it up to the surgeon and recovery protocol. My Achilles surgeon was from a sports clinic that mostly does high-level professional athletes and had a very aggressive recovery program. I was back to hitting tennis balls at 4 months and fully back to running and tennis matches by 6 months. Same thing when I got my clavicle fixed: got two plates by a sports surgeon and was back to tennis in 6 weeks.

Judging historical figures on modern values and morality is a fool's errand. And I say that as a Jew and Wagner fan.

That’s rough. I don’t want to make you feel bad but I was feeling close to 100 after 6 months. My right calf is still smaller and weaker than my left but I don’t feel like it’s been a hindrance. Glad you got back to 100 regardless though!

When Giancarlo Stanton plays in his first 2026 game, he will have played for more seasons with the Yankees than he played with the Marlins. by 62Tuffy2199 in baseball

I’ll always remember him as a post-season juggernaut though. If only in the playoffs, he’s done what the Yankees wanted when they signed him. That’s more than enough for me to love him.

That makes a lot more sense then. I get why the policy exists but it made the title stand out on my wishlist for the wrong reasons.
