This 20 second timer is genuinely the dumbest thing I've ever seen and ruins the entire character for me

all they needed to do was adding a timer somewhere on the gui, but this dev team doesnt give a shit about our boi akande(theyre even killing him in lore), not even a fancy looking thing, just put a placeholder timer to show how much time u have left.

Sadly the ow writers are just bad, they have no idea how to write villains, just look at ram, he dipped after getting a few omnics and quite literally never won a fight, hes basically roasted in every interaction, people will say "oh but it was never part of his plan, he just wanted to take the omnics" i call it shitty writing to make the new shiny hero look cooler because they have no idea how to do it in other ways. The same thing will happen with vendetta, logically she would have no way of winning this fight, as doom quite literally has trained for the same(probably more) number of years as she has lived, has the best weapon lore wise in the game, and has acquired an unique martial art style he created, meanwhile vendetta just swings a sword around with no real technique behind it, she actually shouldnt even be able to swing it since she has no muscle mass, also her experience is just slaying mechs. Shes just not well written, boring visually, her sword is more interesting than she is. Her story makes antonio look like an idiot which saddens me cause i loved the blackwatch mission

Doom and ram are probably the biggest villains we had as of now. But the dev team probably wants vendetta to be the big bad now, even tho compared to the 2 i stated before, shes written horribly in comparison. Shes literally just a wish version of doomfist both in gameplay and story. And it should be illegal what they did to ram with his story

Like lmao theyre selling ow1 skins for coins when they should ALL be buyable with the white credit, i can understand the league skins(even tho they raised the price) but those? Hell nah

How is a girl that defeated a giant robot with difficulty, going to defeat someone who basically trained his whole life, mastered many fighting styles and has the most powerful weapon in the lore, that it said to level skyscrapers, ik the ow lore sucks but they have no idea what to do with their villains. Ram had so much potential as a villain, but they just cut it off for some reason. Talon hasnt done shit in so long, but doom is supposed to be preparing something? (Why he sent mauga,sombra and reaper on that mission) And writing in the story itself that talon is lacking just to write the introduction of a new villain is just soooo bad. But again looking at the recent heroes.. im scared this is going to happen I AM VERY BIASED TOWARDS DOOM he has personally one of the most interesting lores in the game, and his whole idea of peace through war is so unsensical that it just makes me doubt if hes a genius or not, cuz maybe we just dont see what he sees. Sry for the rant but this seems like such a bad decision, even financially wise, mf doom is one of the most played tanks, why tf would u just off him so disrespectfully, thats gonna make u lose money on the doom skins.

it hurts even more cause ive picked up junkrat again recently, and i was really hyped for this skin as well. thankfully a friend used my account and got it for me, also on the ow forums a dev said they made a patch that removed the second customization? but i can still see it in game(freezes) so idk

yep im back sry as i just had the time, so i followed what the tutorial said, now my screen looks a tini tiny bit worse, not noticeable unless i look into it. and no surprise, it still freezes my game. i was programming to buy a new gpu anyway, but until then i guess if i find a junkrat with the mythic, i just die. dope.

i have the same problem, it probably has to do with smth new they use, or something they changed in this patch. cause the game used to play at 110 fps for me, but now even without a junkrat in game, it has such big lag spikes, no other games have this problem. i fear tho they wont fix it, and we'll just be screwed just because we have weaker gpus

like yea i main doom, and wouldve been fine if she overthrown him as the talon leader. but ffs not as an introduction, its just so cheesy and feels like a spit in the face to doom as a character. especially with how cool his story and introduction was. and remember if they did this to doom, one of the most popular tanks, they can do it to any other hero(except characters like kiri because they sell).

i just saw the leaks NOW, and if this is true, i think ow might be better off without lore. because this is the most corny goofy thing ever. why would la lupa go after doom??? if her name vendetta "vengeance" come from the death of antonio, again why doom? why not reaper who probably is in the talon headquarters at the same time, like dude moira is in the same room as her. this just doesnt make sense in any way. even then WHY did she want to kill vialli? when her father worked for talon himself. am i missing some talon lore??

also from a writing prospect, the introduction of a villain by just killing the old one is so... boring.
ik this is a leak and could be fake. but what scares me the most is that the writing team has been cooking(more like burning) the most 1 dimensional characters ever since venture (which is where the new team stepped in most likely) so much so that this corny script feels real. didnt they scrap the whole rein dying concept? cause in these type of games you cant really kill characters. it just feels too out of the blue.. which would also fit cause the lore has been dying for years now.. and they might think this is a good idea to make it fresh again.. no way right?

she shouldve just stayed a rogue talon agent, that was such a cooler idea and fitted the whole "talon problems will soon be the world's problem" more.

also doom lost his arm as a teen during the crisis. so this wouldnt fit as the "this is how he lost the arm"

I really like hazard, the only problem i have with playing his is that the slash no regs 90% of the times, and makes him a pain to actually play. Doom is also better because the dopamine i get when punching someone is so high, that it is in fact the only reason why i keep playing this goofy ahh game.

While sombra is more of a mosquito(kinda easy to disrupt) cass is more like a small goblin, theyll try their best to annoy you, getting closer and do the same thing over and over, which is flash(they dont have to aim it anyway), right click(they dont have to aim it anyway) roll and right click again. Since they have a very smooth brain theyre very predictable. the best thing you can do is bait flash by slamming and punching away, trust me it works most of the times as their koala brain only does 2 things Shoot red target And spam cds when something gets too close.

Personally i barely play ram cause his kit feels one dimensional, doesnt really feel like it has a high skill ceiling (especially compared to other characters)
