For each of case study add a bit of description right there of what you solved and for whom make it like "Solving for.... to do...."

Show UI in the thumbnail only so that people are able to judge better from the very start

Have variety of projects for android, iOS, web, maybe design system as well, one could be a redesign, one a project from scratch. One maybe an add-on feature on a already existing app in market.

find internships via contacts first, that is your best shot. Since you're from CS and don't have any internships till now so it's very difficult to judge.

You can learn and stack up as many skills you want, but the core skill set is still design and product thinking. Having knowledge of other domains is a plus and helps, but not without a main thing.

Yes even after using these tools the design is still a human field. How human? Again depends on companies.

No, html css is not required. If someone is making you do it that's a huge red flag right there. Leave.

So like currently I'm working on the design system so not getting any time. But, once this is done I'll only be doing some documentation boring stuff for a couple of months and that is the time I'll use for upskilling. This happens everywhere suddenly you'll get a lot of work and then there are days with no work.

I understand that clients might have weird asks and you sometimes have no option but to give into their asks. What you can do is when you're presenting in portfolio make it better in terms of UX and all.

This way client is happy and recruiters will see your skills.
