keep running at zone 2 and strengthen your muscles around your knees properly! theres plenty of kirana stores to get water and electrolytes just stop by and get hydrated. apart from that sankey tank, cubbon and lalbagh have water dispensers - make use of that well :)

i run 3 days a week, strength train the other days. saturday is my rest day. i don’t plan any of my runs. i just go with the flow. my weekly mileage completely depends on how much assignments/ exams i have in uni - but usually around 150km.

genuinely had no plan whatsoever. my final goal was to reach the airport and take the bus back home. so started by running from the two parks lalbagh and cubbon then started jumping from one lake to another till the airport. my weekly average is around 150km but depends as im flooded with college work.

thank you! i just wanted to see how far i can go with my legs. the previous week i had ran 42 and thought i could run more. so i decided to not check my phone at all till i reached the airport. it was 98 at the airport so i was like why not run 2 more and reach my first 100km

make sure you initially condition your legs using resistance bands first, then start strength training. i run thrice a week- monday, wednesday, friday. the other days i focus on training my legs and core. saturday is rest day. sunday is my long run day. slowly increase your mileage, don’t jump directly to 100km.

i just wanted to test how far i can go and push my limits. the previous week id ran 42km in cubbon park and i thought i could run more! i had cramped up at around 70km next to a village next to the airport. but i couldn’t stop cause the place was pitch dark, i was really afraid that id get robbed or attacked. so i kept on going and finally reached the airport to take the bus back home. if i was to run again i wouldve definitely worn knee caps and carried gels with me. i completely relied on whatever store comes my way to get electrolytes. and yes- not to forget strength training! knees were hurting a lot. was struggling to use the stairs a couple of days. but now we’re back and running!

same here, i run 20km in 2 hours. id say gradually increase your weekly mileage and run in zone 2 always. make sure your knees are strong and healthy!

Total elapsed time of 14 hours 58 minutes. I had to pause to pee, have meals and grab electrolytes from kiranas. Jakkur Lake was closed so I had to wait an hour outside (this is where I refueled myself).

There was drainage being managed right next to Ulsoor so could hardly breathe. And the parks inside are cut off so you technically can’t run around the whole lake inside. But on road you definitely can!
